Our next stop is Chinchero, where you’ll admire the colonial temple built atop an Inca structure and witness its stunning art. Here, you’ll also visit textile workshops to learn about traditional iconography and the natural techniques used in textile production.
Following this, we’ll head to Urubamba for a scrumptious lunch at a local restaurant known for its healthy and clean dishes. Afterward, we’ll visit an Inca bar to taste the Inca beer, a special drink of the Incas, and interact with locals while learning about guinea pig farming and cuisine.
As the day comes to an end, we’ll make our way to the Ollantaytambo train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes. You’ll spend the night in this charming town, preparing for the next day’s visit to the awe-inspiring Machu Picchu.
