  • Agency-owned private transportation provides steady safety, unlike borrowed setups in competing deals.
  • ATV exploration, cabin stay with baths, and lake walk create a mixed active-relax format, broader than single-theme trips from rivals.
  • Private Machu Picchu guidance permits adjusted speed, better than fixed group paces elsewhere.
  • Local organic meal bases, with global picks at added cost, give choices missing in some packages.
  • Continuous staff monitoring delivers fast help, improving over less attentive services.
  • Train firm choice for Machu Picchu: PeruRail highlights window scenes, Inca Rail stresses calm smaller spaces; this option outshines rigid selections in others.

TRIP ITINERARY

DAY 1:

Arrival in Cusco - Hotel Transfer

The tour commences with our team at Cusco airport. Private transportation owned by the agency moves you to the hotel. Drivers, highly trained for these roads, complete the shift smoothly.

Drink coca tea after arriving, an Andean infusion that aids with height symptoms like tiredness. Staff provides a map pointing to cultural spots, places serving typical foods, currency spots, and stores.

Cusco’s position at 3,399 meters calls for initial calm. Spend first hours relaxing indoors. This helps body adjust. Guides advise light activity only later.

Overnight at a hotel in Cusco.

Breakfast serves at the hotel. The Sacred Valley tour leaves in the morning. First, to Pisac, with its market and Inca terraces for crops.

Guides, versed in these circuits, discuss grain storage. Then to Awanacancha, showing fiber dyeing from plants. See camelids, vital for Andean cloth.

Lunch in Urubamba, valley midpoint. Proceed to Ollantaytambo, featuring active Inca aqueducts. View the large stones. Train departs to Aguas Calientes, in forested heights.

Select PeruRail for covered landscapes or Inca Rail for quieter rides. The area has thick plants.

Overnight at a hotel in Aguas Calientes.

Team leads from hotel to station. Bus ascends 30 minutes to Machu Picchu. Private guide explains Inca facts, including cultural enigmas.

Sessions cover how designs match Andean patterns. Time follows for own discovery. Return to Aguas Calientes. Train back to Cusco.

Options: Lunch at Belmond Sanctuary Lodge, entry-front. Vistadome return with broad seats. Buy Huayna Picchu access for overlooks; sales team for info.

30 minutes for setup. Guide leads 3 to 4 hours ride. First to Maras salt pools, family-run evaporations from springs, Andean resource example.

To Moray terraces, crop experiment zones with varying heats. Guides detail adaptations. Between 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., check-in and lunch (separate cost) at restaurant.

At 3:00 p.m., free time. Use bikes for area, bath in cabin, paint and picnic 2 hours, horse ride 1 hour in Maras fields, row in Huaypo Lagoon 2 hours (paid), path by lagoon with salt and terrace sights. Interact with llamas, alpacas. Feel Andean presence.

Overnight at Mountain View Ecological Cabins.

Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out at 10:00 a.m., then free for more activities. Continue with cabin features in this Andean immersion.

A visitor mentioned how a bath refreshed after rides. From 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., private transportation returns to Cusco.

Overnight at a hotel in Cusco.

The trek starts early with hotel pickup. Private transportation heads to Pacchanta. The 3-hour uphill path crosses green valleys, rivers, snow tops.

Guides pace for comfort. At first lake, see turquoise to pink from minerals. Prepare camera for hues. Guides explain sediment roles.

Time to view all seven. Return to Pacchanta for lunch. Option for hot springs soak post-walk. Back to Cusco later.
