ICA HOTEL / BUS STATION PICK-UP → HUACACHINA OASIS → DUNE BUGGY ADVENTURE → SANDBOARDING → RETURN TO ICA
Your Huacachina Dune Buggy and Sandboarding Tour begins with a previously coordinated pick-up from your hotel in Ica or from the Ica bus station.
From there, you will travel with a professional guide to the famous Huacachina Oasis, located just a few kilometers from the city of Ica. Upon arrival, you will have time to appreciate the lagoon, surrounding palm trees, and the impressive desert landscape that has made Huacachina one of the most recognized destinations in southern Peru.
The adventure then continues into the desert aboard a 4×4 dune buggy, locally known as a tubular. During the ride, you will cross high sand dunes, steep slopes, and wide desert valleys while enjoying panoramic views of the Huacachina desert.
At selected dunes, the vehicle will stop so you can enjoy sandboarding, one of the most popular adventure activities in the area. Your guide will provide basic instructions before the activity so you can enjoy the experience according to your comfort level.
After completing the dune buggy ride and sandboarding session, you will return to Huacachina and then continue with the transfer back to your hotel in Ica or the bus station, according to your travel arrangements.

This experience can also be combined with other attractions in the region, such as the Ballestas Islands, Ica vineyards and wineries, or a Nazca Lines experience. These additional tours may be added during the booking process, subject to availability.

Dune Buggy and Sandboarding Activities
The tour includes a 4×4 dune buggy ride and sandboarding experience. Travelers must follow the safety instructions provided by the guide and driver at all times.
