Excelente experiência de quatro dias em trek, finalizando em Machu Picchu. Trilhas fortes, difíceis, mas o Genrri nos ajudou bastante tornado a jornada mais tranquila.

Nous avons réalisé le Jungle Trek, c’est une expérience inoubliable et vraiment originale comparée à une simple rando.
Par ailleurs, notre guide David a été vraiment très attentif à nos besoins et très intéressant dans les informations transmises. Je le recommande a 100%.

Just completed the 4-day Salkantay trek with Machu Picchu Team and couldn’t recommend enough. Our lead guide Edgar was the best! Knowledgeable, passionate and somehow always managed to adapt to our needs no matter what. Gavriel was a great (and hilarious) support!

So grateful to Antonio, Nelly & her husband (whose name escapes me!) also took such great care of us with transporting our bags and the awesome food - nutritious & delicious. A good mix of local and international food.

Some very thoughtful details throughout like Coca Tea delivered to our huts on the coldest & earliest start.

The trek itself was the perfect balance of challenging and enjoyable. Machu Picchu at the end felt truly deserved.

If you’re considering Salkantay, choose this team! You’re in the best hands. 🏔️

We had an incredible time on the Salkantay 4 day trek. The Machu Picchu team were well organised, easy to communicate with and excellent at creating a warm friendly environment for all the trekkers! I would highly recommend the experience. In particular, Edgar and Gavriel were brilliant guides who got to know us personally and were a big part of the whole trip. Thanks again!

Just got back from the 4-day/3-night Salkantay Trek and WOW — what an experience. Challenging? Absolutely. Worth it? A thousand times yes.

A huge part of what made this so special were our guides Edgar (“Edgarito”) and Gabriel. Edgar is honestly the kind of guide you feel lucky to get — so caring, knowledgeable, and experienced, but most importantly he puts his whole heart into what he does. You never felt like just another tourist. Gabriel on the other hand kept the whole group laughing the entire time — exactly what you need when your legs are giving out at altitude. 😂

We also got incredibly lucky with our group, which makes such a difference on a trek like this.

If you’re on the fence about doing Salkantay — just do it. And if you can get Edgar and Gabriel as your guides, even better. Can’t recommend them enough! 🏔️

YOU HAVE TO DO THIS TREK! I had the most amazing time with the most amazing people. The trek was absolutely beautiful and accommodating was surprisingly luxurious. We were well looked after with amazing food and help from all the tour guides and cooks. A special shoutout to Edgar who was the most amazing tour guide. If I were you, I would request him as a tour guide!

My experience with the Machu Picchu Team was absolutely AMAZING !! 10/10 with Edgar as our tour guide.

He was hilarious, caring, funny thoughtful, knowledgeable + just really wants to get to know you.

So if you book with this company, make sure you ask for Edgar !!

Had an amazing experience doing the 5 day Salkantay trek with Machu Picchu Team. Our guide Hans really made the experience, creating a great vibe for the group and also sharing with us a lot of knowledge and information. Great food throughout the whole time and the accomodation was nice.

Better than I ever could have imagined! So well planned and very adaptable. Edgar was amazing and is obviously very passionate about his work. He kept the group energy high and was super helpful. We did the 4 day Salkantay Trek which was challenging but I would recommend to everyone!
