The four-day/three-night Salkantay Trek with Marco Antonio and Elisban was a great experience. They led the group in a relaxed and fun way, while ensuring our well-being. They are both passionate about Peruvian culture and keen to share their knowledge. Thank you for guiding us! 💛

The organisation of the trek in general was good too. We had an amazing kitchen team who cooked the most delicious Peruvian dishes for us. Transport from Hidroelectrica to Cusco was chaotic, but we finally arrived.

Me and my girlfriend went on the 4 days Inca jungle trek and it was a very fun experience. If you want more of an adventure instead of only hiking, we would really recommend this option. Our guide’s name was David and he made sure that, we had some of the most memorable days. He was super kind and helpful, so we suggest that you ask for him as your tourguide🗻

Great experience! We had the best guide in the world, José!! 🤗 He was really nice, quite funny and was totally open to do random or serious conversation along the way/tracks. He also showed much interest in our country (Germany) as we asked a lot about not only Machu Picchu/Salkantay but also about the Peruvians and their culture.

As well as the guide, the views were great and we made enough breaks along the way, so everyone could do their own pace.

Teamwise (Machu Picchu Team), the organization was perfect! Their weren‘t any delays (except for one electricity shutdown, but that‘s not their fault) and every car ride, meal and luggage was perfectly provided and prepared.

We have just finished the 5D/4N Salkantay trek with Machu Picchu Team and had an amazing time! The communication from the company prior to the trip was brilliant including helping rearrange plans when entry tickets were unavailable. However the standout part of the trip was our two guides Marco Antonio and Elisban- their knowledge of the mountains, history and culture of Peru was fascinating and their support made all the hills that bit easier! If I could have them join me for every hike I would. Thankyou!!

We had an amazing time on the 5 day salkantay trek. It was all well organised with decent food and accommodation. What absolutely made this the best experience was our two guides Elisban and Marco Antonio. They brought so much knowledge, experience and fun to our trek! It would not have been the same without them

Did the 4-day Salkantay trek with Machu Picchu Team and somehow survived on sore legs, snacks, and pure emotional support from our legendary guide Omar.

Honestly, the whole experience was unreal. The views looked fake, the hikes were no joke, and every day was a mix of “this is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen” and “why did I agree to this.” But it was 100% worth it.

Omar was the absolute star of the trip. Part mountain expert, part motivator, part therapist. He kept us going when the altitude was humbling us, made sure everyone was okay, and somehow stayed positive the entire time. Give that man a medal, a raise, and probably a nap.

Massive recommendation for Machu Picchu Team’s 4-day Salkantay experience. Amazing trek, great organization, and if you get Omar as your guide, congratulations, you’ve already won.

Amoroso was an amazing tour guide, we really enjoyed the trek with him, he was a great lead. The only thing to be aware of is that the company don’t make you aware of a lot of extra costs so while the trek looks like a good deal, the tips for each set of people (horsemen, chefs and the guide), activities and other transport fees can all add up quite quickly.

I did the 4 days hike (salkantay trek). It was a great experiance with great people, landscapes and food. Our guide Omar was good at explaining about the plants, landscapes and Inka history!

I did the sacred valley tour with Nemias and I would definitely recommend him as your tour guide. His knowledge, eagerness to answer any questions and friendly personality made the day trip experience unique.
