Where do I even begin… what an experience! First of all, our tour guide Owen was phenomenal and took such good care of us! Team PachaOwen 4 Lyfe! I would wholeheartedly recommend Jimmy! He was one of the best guides I’ve ever had. Initially I was unwell and he made the effort to make sure I was okay and also took me to the pharmacy. He also had such a good sense of humour, was highly knowledgeable and was so well prepared. He made the 3 day tour fun , engaging and interesting. Anyone who joins a tour with him will have the best time! I’m even crediting the rainbow we saw at Machu Picchu to him :). We did the 3 day trek up Salkantay to Machu Picchu with our amazing guide José.
The trek takes you through several stunning sections from the heights of the Salkantay summit to beautiful jungle paths. At every step José taught us some Incan traditions, words and stories. He also had great knowledge of the endemic animals and plants you find along the way.
If we had any questions or concerns José was always very helpful and made sure we were looked after every step of the way.
We had a great time on the trek and the final day at Machu Picchu was incredible. I would recommend Machu Picchu Team and José as a guide.

Just completed the salkantay trek with Hans and Erwin. They were lots of fun and shared interesting things about the region and culture, did everything they could to make the best experience. Food was great and all ran smoothly. 100% recommend.
We had a great time on our one day private tour of the Sacred Valley. Our friendly guide Nemias did an excellent job of explaining the history and culture of each stop and walking at our slow pace as we weren’t acclimated yet. It is a long day, so be sure to wear sunscreen and bring water. Would highly recommend this tour.
