We had an unforgettable experience on the Salkantay Trek with The Machu Pichu team, led by Juancho Escalante. Juancho was understanding and accommodating to everyones needs and levels along the way and always willing to adapt plans to ensure everyone felt safe and happy. Head chef Raymundo was also very accommodating to my vegetarian needs with meals adapted to my allergies. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family who will look to do the treks in the future !

We had an amazing experience with an incredible guide Juancho! He was very knowledgeable and informative, he also made sure we were always looked after whilst on the trek.

We had an unbelievable experience on the Salkantay Trek with Juancho Escalante as our guide! The 5 day trip was manageable and a great balance of fun and effort. The food staff led by Raymundo kept us well fed, the equipment was great, and the campsites and activities made the experience even more unforgettable. I would 100% recommend using Machu Picchu team for the Salkantay trek, and especially with Juancho as a guide!

I did the Salkantay trek with juan also known as juancho Escalante, I’ve done many treks and experiences in central and South America over my travels, I haven’t met a guide as good as juan, looked after us as a team so we’ll, didn’t push us too hard and made sure we had a great time, anyone I meet will be recommending the company and juan, 10/10 couldn’t ask for a better guide and experience.

Also a bit shoutout to raymundo and janpier who did a fantastic job.

We booked a 5-day 4-night Salkantay Trekking tour with Machu Picchu Teams. It has been one of the most amazing trips I have ever done. The entire process has been very smooth. The Teams provoded professional services since.the very beginning. We were kept informed throughout the entire process. Our guide Alexis was especially knowledgeable, funny, and kind. Although it was a very tough trekking, Alexis arranged stopps to allow us to rest and use washroom. He would also explain the Inka culture including food, plants, buildings along the route. Such a nice guy. I highly recommend Machu Picchu Teams if you ever want to put this bucket list into reality.

Nous avons choisi de faire le Salkantay Trek avec Machu Picchu Team, et nous avons zéro regrets. Cette expérience a été incroyable, les paysages étaient magnifiques, la logistique au top, et notre guide absolument génial. Je remercie tout particulièrement Omar, notre guide, qui est tout simplement génial, à l’écoute, drôle, avec ses riches explications et conseils. Pour ce qui est de l’agence, nous avons seulement rencontré un problème avec l’hostel Allpa Inn, le logement de la dernière nuit, mais l’équipe a été à l’écoute et a fait le nécessaire. Je recommande !

Es war eine wunderschöne Zeit, wir hatten eine tolle Gruppe und einen sehr tollen Guide, Alexis ist der beste! Die Unterkünfte sowie das Essen waren deutlich besser als wir erwartet hatten und die overall experience war einfach Spitze.

Did the 4d/3n Salkantay trek. Our guide Omar was just the best, super sweet, kind and helpful! In the last night there was a problem with our hostel and both Omar as well as the agency really did everything possible to figure it out! Everything is really well organised as well! Can recommend!

Amazing trip! Edgar, our guide was amazing - very supportive, informative and great fun through challenging conditions. The team will explain everything! It was a good sized group and there was tasty food throughout, prepared by a team.

Edgar is from the mountains and shares his story and his culture. This trip is such a nice way to see amazing nature and also understand more about the area and it's history. The team of chefs and horse drivers go above and beyond to ensure you are well fuelled and equipped to enjoy the adventure.

I recommend 5 days to have more time to soak it all in!!! We are sad it's over!
