Aurelio was the best guide that anyone could wish for on this trek. He was so passionated about the cultural history of the places we went to and gave us loads of interesting informations. He was also very supportive during the hard times and definitely knew how to make us laugh through the trip.
The food was also really amazing. We had proportions and quality and I felt like we had everything we needed everyday.
The Salkantay trek is amazing and i can only encourage you to go with machu picchu team to do it, and most importantly with Aurelio that made our trip so much more incredible.

The food was another highlight of the trip. Every meal was incredibly delicious, freshly prepared, and the portions were very generous. It's hard to believe the chefs could create such amazing dishes in the middle of the mountains! We were always well-fed and full of energy for the next day's hike.

The activities along the trek were fantastic and added so much to the overall experience. Every day brought something new, with breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable moments. The entire team was friendly, attentive, and always focused on our comfort and safety.

Just finished the 5 day trek with Steven and had the best time! Challenging exercise for stunning views! Steven as guide was lovely and excellent, providing clear guidance and advice for the activities, loads of interesting local knowledge and insight into where we were throughout the trek, and most importantly being great fun!! He really helped to make the group from just meeting to being good friends quickly. making from start to finish the best time. Highly recommend for everyone

The 4-day Salkantay Trek was an incredible experience from start to finish. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and we learnt so much about Inca history along the way. A huge thank you to our guide, Ronny, whose energy, humour, knowledge, and ability to cater for all hiking abilities made the trek even more memorable. Couldn't recommend him more!

I only joined the last part of the 5D4N Salkantay trip because of sickness, but it was amazing. Definitely recommend this company.

Wonderful experience. The guides were very helpful and accommodating. Food was wonderful. We had lots of fun and saw many beautiful views and stayed in very fun accommodations. Our guide Amoroso was very helpful to me being 54 years old. Was able to skip some of the ascensions that I could not do. Overall, so glad I booked with Machu Picchu Reservations. Will be doing some day trips with them as well.
