I have to admit, considering the distance and altitude, this is the hardest hike I've ever been on. But my team and guides were excellent, and they always encouraged me to accompany me, and I couldn't have walked the full distance without them. Our guide able was very professional and friendly, very good at regulating the atmosphere and told us many stories and knowledge about inka and Machu Picchu along the way. It's also worth mentioning that the team of chefs in the team was also very surprising, they were absolute heroes behind the scenes.

Had an amazing time completing the 4 day Salkantay trek with Ronny and Zucemo. They made sure the group was all looked after and the hike was enjoyed by all, regardless of hiking ability/experience. Good information provided about the trail and Inca history. Comfortable accommodation and food was top notch. Highly recommend!

We booked the 5D/4N Salkantay Trek and had Juan (and Erwin!) as our guides - they made the whole trip unforgettable! They were patient with us, always in good spirits, and probably the funniest tour guides in the world!!! The accommodation we stayed in was great, and the food was also really good. Would recommend!!

We booked the 5D Salkantay trek with Machu Picchu Team. We had an amazing journey. Food and accomodation were amazing but most of all our guide Aurelio (and Erwin!) really made the trip. So much experience and knowledge, friendliness and humour. I would definitely book with Machu Picchu Team again, also because they're cheap compared to other companies! We had so much fun along the way and made some great friends.

Great company to do Salkantay trek with. My guide was Juancho Escalante who was friendly, experienced and knowledgable. Our second guide was Elis who was also great, and Nicholas/Moto Moto the chef was always cooking amazing food, and great for catering for all. I highly recommend him and Machu Picchu team

The Salkantay Trek was incredible, and Ronnie absolutely made the trip. Brilliant guide, knowledgeable, great sense of humour, and kept the whole group smiling even on the tough climbs.

Amazing food, endless coca tea (including wake-up service in the mornings!), and an all-round unforgettable experience thanks to Ronnie. Couldn’t recommend him more!
