Absolutely incredible experience with Machu Picchu Team on the Salkantay Trek! From start to finish, everything was exceptionally well organised, the food was amazing, and the campsites and logistics exceeded my expectations.
A special thank you to our guide, Juan, who was outstanding throughout the trek. He was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and always made sure everyone was comfortable, safe, and enjoying the experience. His passion for the mountains and local culture really brought the journey to life.
The Salkantay Trek was one of the highlights of my South America trip, with breathtaking scenery every day and memories that will last a lifetime. I would highly recommend Machu Picchu Team to anyone considering a trek to Machu Picchu. 10/10 experience!

It was a wonderful experience with Marco Antonio, our guide for the Salkantay Trek. He was incredibly attentive to our needs and never hesitated to teach us about Peruvian culture in general and with particular passion to the culture of Cusco (Quechua). During our overnight camps, the locals treated us with extreme kindness. I fell ill and had to return to Cusco; this didn't pose any problem at all, as I was able to rejoin the group later on. Marco Antonio knows how to foster a sense of unity within the group and facilitates the formation of strong bonds. An extraordinary guide!! A true highlight of my Peru trip! 😍

I joined the 3D2N Salkantay tour. From booking to confirmation was professional done even with my change on date, they responded within a day. Love the reminder via whatsapp. The tour itself was professional done with lots of local knowledge, learn hips about the nature. I was well taken care throughout the hike.
I had the most amazing experience on the Salkantay trek with some tough hiking in the altitude whilst though I was supported and guided well above expectation from our guides Jet Lee and Alexis. The meals that were served for us were restaurant quality and the accommodation being an absolute treat at the end of a long day. 100% will trek with them again.
The Salkantay Trek was an incredible experience with amazing views from start to finish, the route offered a great mix of challenging hiking, stunning mountain views, and diverse landscapes. Hans my guide was excellent brought great energy and was very knowledgeable, the food cooked by Joel was great, and the whole trek was well organised and shout out to Michael the guy leading the horses and mules to each campsite. Reaching Machu Picchu at the end made the journey even more rewarding and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Peru.

The food throughout was well above expectations, fresh, healthy and delicious - not to mention all of the comforting warm teas made with local ingredients. The most amazing experience with the Machu Pichu team for the 4 day Salkantay trek!!! Our guide was Alexis/ Nacho and he was the absolute best. We had such a fun time even though some parts were tough, he always made everything fun and made us feel safe and happy!! Just finished an amazing Salkantay trek with Amoroso and Victor. The trek was hard, but so rewarding. The food was delicious and the accomodations very cool and comfy (no tents!). Huge thank you to the whole team, it was a fantastic experience!
