I was absolutely impressed by the Machu Picchu team, Nacho was the most informative and dedicated host and was able to provide so much insight into Inca civilisation. He helped us out along the way informing when the hike was going to be difficult and even assisted when we were struggling with the altitude. I would recommend this company in a heart beat!

Just finished the most incredible trip with these guys, any expectations I had were absolutely exceeded!! All the food and accomodation was incredible and ample, and these guides really made it next level - Nachito and Yet Lee were some of the best guides I've had on any tour, so much knowledge, care and humour that got us through some tough parts of the Salkantay Trek. I just finished the 5-day Salkantay Trek with Machu Picchu Team, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The views were unreal, the food was amazing, and everything was organized so well.
A special shoutout to our guides, Jet Lee and Nachito. They made the trip unforgettable with their knowledge, energy, and constant support throughout the trek. They genuinely cared about everyone in the group and always went above and beyond to make sure we were having a great time.

Did the 5 day Salkantay trek with guide Hans. HANS WAS AMAZING and made the experience wonderful for the actual hiking/trekking portion.
Accommodations and food leave more to be desired…
This was my first trek and it was a great time, mainly due to our tour guide Hans. It can be really hard and really boring at times but with Hans, it was never boring and always helped us push through. Only book with this company if your tour guide is Hans. He seriously goes above and beyond with energy and commitment to those who he is guiding throughout the trek. Overall great experience, but cant say it would have been as great if it wasnt for Hans.

Hans is without doubt the best guide I’ve had on a tour, such an amazing guy and made the experience so much fun, full of knowledge about everything you’re seeing and took us to some spots that others didn’t get to see for which I’m very grateful.
Some other parts of the tour (Salkantay Trek 5D/4N) left a bit to be desired - particularly about the accommodations that they use, the breakfasts and the timings we had to stick to, but leaving 5 stars because Hans made it all worth it. Would recommend this company if you’re going with him!
