Great experience doing the 2D/1N Inca trail with Miguel. Great communication, briefing, and organization. The views were spectacular and it was really special to get to see Machu Pichu twice. Highly recommend this tour if you are short on time. Thank you to our fantastic guide Miguel who was knowledgeable and caring.

I went on this Trek as the first real long hiking expedition of my life. It was phenomenal from the beginning to the end. The people met along the way to the amazing team that helped us. Truly though, what made this Trek worth it was our guide Owen. He was knowledgeable, He was Fun, He was the Trek. I couldn’t really imagine what the trek would’ve been like without Owen, he led us down a path where I felt every person on the hike left with something that made them better for the rest of their lives. A journey that was more than physical, but tested the mental, and expanded the spirit. I’m sure the other guides are great as well, but if you get the opportunity to Trek with Owen, it will be an unforgettable experience, one that you will carry for all of life!

We did the 5 day Salkantay trek and Owen was our tour guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the region and Incan history, all questions were answered with great enthusiasm and there was never a dull moment. I enjoyed learning more about Incan culture and the ceremony we performed on top of Salkantay pass was my favorite moment. Could not recommend more!!!

Ask for Owen as a guide, he made the experience for me! Wonderful guy, knowledgeable and really brings the Inca culture to life as a local himself.

Would recommend. Watch out with Inca tequila and the altitude, they make for good memories and hard hiking!

Just finished a 5 day salkantey trek with Owen as my guide. The group of people were all very fun, tour was well organized, and Owen was a great host. I learned a lot about Peruvian history and Inca culture. Special thanks to Owen for the great hospitality.

Una bellissima esperienza e una vera sfida personale. Fisicamente la fatica più pesante si concentra tutta il primo giorno, mentre dal secondo in poi il passo diventa decisamente più gestibile. Una menzione d’onore alla guida Aurelio, preziosissimo per supporto tecnico e buonumore costante nei momenti più duri. Il cibo è stato eccezionale e abbondante dall'inizio alla fine. Sacco a pelo e bastoncini si possono noleggiare sul posto. Da portare assolutamente da soli invece sono repellente per insetti (fondamentale averlo dietro, anche se non abbiamo trovato invasioni ingestibili di zanzare), la propria carta igienica (non viene mai fornita) e contanti in Soles per extra come Wi-Fi e docce calde, che però spesso non funzionano o non sono disponibili.
La nota dolente sono gli alloggi, gestiti con standard discutibili. Se il primo e il terzo campo erano ottimi, il secondo è stato pessimo: capanne per nulla isolate dove entravano freddo e insetti, con una doccia calda a pagamento che passava dall'essere bollente all'essere congelata. L’ostello della quarta notte era semplicemente sporco e squallido.
Consiglio il trekking per la bellezza del percorso, ma siate pronti al disagio: non aspettatevi comodità e preparatevi a fare i conti con servizi scadenti per almeno metà delle notti.

Absolute great experience, with an awesome guide (Aurelio the GOAT), great food(everyday freshly prepared and lovingly and a supporting team that made this challenging track an unforgettable experience!
I'd like to give a feedback on the chosen accomodation - the second one was really not comfortable nor hygenic at all.
If this is changed, this is totally a 5 star experience!

Aurelio was a nice tour guide and was very helpful when I had a medical issue and had to be brought down in the middle of the trek. Great value for the money.
