The Salkantay Trek was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! Juancho was an exceptional guide, knowledgeable and energetic throughout all five days! The organisation was seamless, with clear communication, reliable logistics, and everything set up so we could fully focus on the breathtaking landscapes around us🏔️

I did the Salkantay Trek 5D/4N with guide Juancho Escalante, and it was such a great experience. Everything was very well organized. Juancho supported us all along the way, gave us lots of encouragement at the hard parts, briefed us every night on the next day, and shared lots of interesting information about what we were seeing. He did a great job. The kitchen team was fantastic and made us such great meals. And the mule team did the hard work of getting our bags from place to place always on time. The places we stayed - Andean huts, star dome, and hotel - worked really well. Highly recommend.

I booked both rainbow mountain and 5 day salkantay trek with Machu Picchu team. Couldn’t recommend the company more, Salkantay trek was particularly great.
Our guide was Juancho, very friendly and explained in detail. The hike was challenging but doable, I would recommend spending 2-3 days in Cusco before for acclimatizing to the altitude. The food during the tour was very good as well, good selection and large portions. Accomodation was also comfortable, definitely would recommend also booking a sleeping bag because first 2 days were particularly cold due to the altitude. Overall I had very good experience with the company and would recommend it to other people who would be interested in a multi day trek to Machu Picchu.

Wonderful experience. Our guide amoroso was amazing and kept the spirits high throughout the whole trek. All the food was amazing aswell. Overall perfect experience.
