The most amazing 5 days. Should out to our guide Ronaldo!

Le trek de 5 jours étaient incroyable. La nourriture vege était très bonne et originale, j’ai même pu manger un lomo saltado avec du soja à la place de la viande.
Le guide Ronaldo était top ! 🫡

Carlos and Omar are the best guides one could ask for! They were patient, helpful and very knowledgeable. The 4-day Salkantay trail was very demanding but so rewarding. I would definitely recommend this team.

I did the 3D2N! It was well organized with activities and accommodations. We had Jhon as a guide on day 1 before joining guide Amoroso and his group. Great guides with lots of knowledge.

Tuvimos la mejor experiencia con Machu Picchu Team en el viaje de Salkantay (5D/4N), especificamente debido a nuestros guias Max y Nesto, quienes nos cuidaron además de que ellos son super informados, simpaticos y sobre todo divertidisimos! Siempre me sentía segura a través del trip y tambien nos animaron lo que ayudó mucho cuando la ruta era dura. Te recomiendo a alguien hacer una reserva con esta organización y pida Max y Nesto como tus guias porque estás garantizado tener lo mejor experiencia

Would highly recommend doing the Salkantay Trek with Machu Picchu Team. Had the most amazing four days. Our tour guide Hans was informative, supportive and a brilliant character to have every step of the way.

The food cooked by Moto Moto was just what we needed for our days hiking. Each meal was different and catered for everyone’s preferences.

Could not recommend Hans and Moto Moto and Machu Picchu Teams enough!

Did the Salkantay 5D/4N with Marco Antonio and Erwin. The experience was amazing, both were so knowledgable and friendly. We really felt safe and at home in the Andes with them! Could not recommend more!!

I would strongly advise travellers to exercise caution before booking with Machupicchu Reservations my experience was not only confusing, but also raised serious concerns regarding transparency and professionalism.
I initially intended to book with Machupicchu Reservations based on recommendations. However, upon entering their website and contacting them via WhatsApp, I was informed that they were actually operating as Machupicchu Team. This inconsistency immediately created doubt, as it was unclear whether both names referred to the same entity or to different companies.
In order to clarify the situation, I visited their office with friends. We decided to go in person because my friends had already received their tickets back along with only a partial refund of their payment, which made the situation even more concerning. At the office, a staff member provided explanations that were unclear and at times contradictory, leaving us without a concrete understanding of what was actually happening.
Furthermore, during our trip, our guide mentioned that some former employees have not been paid for their work. While I cannot independently verify this, it is a serious claim that, if accurate, raises additional concerns about the company’s internal practices.
Given the lack of clarity, inconsistent communication, and overall uncertainty, we ultimately chose not to proceed and instead booked with another agency where the process was transparent and professional from the beginning.
Based on this experience, I would recommend considering alternative companies and carefully verifying all details before making any reservation. Clear information and trust are essential when organising travel, and unfortunately, this was not reflected in our experience
