Really good experience!! We had the best guide, Amoroso, who did a really good job!

I came across Machu Picchu Team during their ownership transition. After some initial issues, we finally managed to get in touch and confirm the 4-day Salkantay trek.

Lucky for me, because the trek itself was very well-organized. You can tell they come from an experienced organization with the right know-how and solid resources.

However, the guides were the biggest highlight. Owen is absolutely the best guide in the world; I don't know what more he could do to improve. He’s a leader, a motivator, tells great stories about the locations, culture, and local life, and is 110% committed. Elisban – more quiet, but helpful and caring – complemented the team perfectly.
Machu Picchu Team – I hope you’re paying these guys well, because they are worth every penny ;)

The trek itself took place in beautiful spots. The altitude is tough, but anyone with good fitness and a bit of determination will definitely manage.

I booked the 3D/2N Salkantay trek. Everything was well organized. The food was very good. My guide Ronny had great knowledge about the trek and Machu Picchu. Thanks to Ronny and the team for this unbelievable experience. Next time I would book the 5D/4N to enjoy the trek
even more.

Salkantay Trek 5D/4N parfait avec Billyboy!!

Salcantay with those legends was one of the best tours I’ve done in 9 months in South America! Our guide Rene was a true gem and everything went perfect! Would do the same tour again 10/10!!!

L'expérience de ce trek restera un souvenir gravé à jamais dans mon cœur pour la vie. J'ai même pu rallonger la durée au 3ème jour pour faire le trek en 5 jours et non 4. Toute l'équipe était formidable, Aurelius et Erwin les deux guides étaient vraiment supers ! Ils prenaient le temps de bien nous expliquer pendant le trek concernant l'histoire et la culture des personnes qui vivaient là, les différentes plantes et animaux aussi. En parlant d'animaux, la personne en charge des chevaux pour porter les bagages s'occupent très bien d'eux, point à noter puisqu'on avons pu constater d'autres types de comportements envers les chevaux avec d'autres compagnies. Et aussi un grand merci aux chefs qui nous ont préparé des repas délicieux chaque midi et chaque soir. On s'est régalés du début à la fin. Je recommande cette compagnie à 100% pour le Salkantay trek.
