Did the 5 day Salkantay hike with the Machu Picchu Team and it was amazing. Excellently organised with timely transport, excellent food with such an array of choice, accommodation with outrageous views (especially the 1st night) & such a charismatic and energetic guide - Shout out Edgarito, you the man! #OneTeamOneDream

I had an incredible experience on the 4-day Salkantay Trek with Machu Picchu Teams, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Max. He was so kind, attentive, and friendly from start to finish, and really went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a great time.
Max shared so much fascinating knowledge about Salkantay, the Incas, the Quechua people, and the history of the region, which made the trek so much more meaningful. I found it genuinely interesting and loved learning about the culture and the places we were walking through.
The views were absolutely out of this world, the accommodation was comfortable, and we were always well fed with delicious meals. Everything was well organised, allowing us to just enjoy the experience.
I couldn't recommend Machu Picchu Teams more, and especially Max as a guide. By the end of the trek, he felt more like a friend than just our guide. If you're thinking about doing the Salkantay Trek, I would wholeheartedly recommend this company, and if you can, ask for Max!

We had the most amazing time during our 5 day Salkantay trip. The cooks were amazing, they provided us with so much delicious food. The horse mans were working very hard and always helped us when needed. Our guide Hans was amazing, so much interesting information and we always felt safe. He took the time for us and made sure we made it trough the day with a smile. Everything was organised really well! I would definitely recommend Booking it with this agency!!!

Los arrieros llevaron nuestras cosas y llegaron a tiempo y perfecto estado, solo al final hubo una pequeña demora para que llegue nuestras cosas, la comida estuvo buena quizás poner más platos peruanos como ají de gallina, causa, lomo saltado con carne de llama, etc comida simple y el guia Hanz estuvo bien siempre nos espero y ayudo en todo momento. Muchas gracias por esta fantástica aventura chicos.

Everything was perfect! Meals were varied, really tasty, and in a big quantity.
The cowboys were precautious with our belongings, and always on time at our next station. And what to tell more about our Guide Hans, who was really caretaking and shared his passion and knowledges of the landscape, culture, animals, and Inca history. We really appreciated the attention of all the staff and their professionnalism all allong our trip to machu picchu!

Loved this experience! It was one of the best days I spend on my trip! The food was amazing and always freshly prepared. The mules that carried our stuff were so strong and made our lives easier. Our guide Hans was really fun and had a lot of knowledge. The walking was hard but very doable. The accommodation were simple but clean and unique.

What an adventure. And this was only doable because of the nice staff of machu picchu team. We got amazing food every day, that means breakfast, lunch and dinner. They made sure we not only got to eat the lovely food but also meet the people behind it, that makes it really personal. I have so much respect for the people who has caried or bags every single day. Big thanks to machu picchu team, I would recommend it to everyone!

The trip was amazing!! The experiences from this trip are unforgettable! Throughout the whole trip all our belongings got transported to the campsites making the 5 days very comfortable! The kitchen staff was amazing aswel, each meal was freshly prepared for us and was very diverse every day! The food was ready for us as soon as we arrived!

Had an amazing time with Hans, who was full of stories about everything we saw and its relevant backstories! Take bug spray and enough soles to buy water with you.
