The tour was great, the nature insane, and Max the best guide!

Très bonne expérience. Surtout au niveau du guide, Omar, vraiment parfait, attentif à tout le monde et qui faisait son maximum pour que chacun se sente bien. MERCI ! Très bons repas aussi.

Concernant les logements, le 1er mériterait une grosse amélioration : pas d’électricité, de douche, très froid et de la condensation qui nous tombait dessus la nuit. Mettre simplement des couvertures à disposition ce serait pas mal déjà. Logement 2 : pas de prise non plus pour recharger son téléphone. Douches présentes mais payantes et quasi inutilisables (glaciales ou bouillantes et parfois bouchées). Les logements 3 et 4 étaient par contre beaucoup mieux.

Prévoir pas mal de cash car il y a les pourboires (quasi obligés dans les faits…), tous les toilettes sont payants, l’eau, les snack et certaines activités facultatives (zipline, hotspring), et si vous êtes mal la possible de monter à cheval le jour 2. Je conseillerais de partir avec au moins 400 soles.

Enfin, la moyenne d’âge est très très jeune, quasi que des anglosaxons début vingtaine dans les groupes durant mon séjour, je ne sais pas si c’est toujours le cas. L’ambiance était quand même cool mais à savoir avant de réserver.

We had the best time on the Salkantay trek with Machu Picchu team. The accom was great and the entire team was super helpful, especially when one of our friends fell unwell. Big thanks, and shoutout to our group leader Edgar. One team, one dream!

An incredible adventure. Our guide Nachito was a legend 5 stars for his Professionalism 5 stars for his humour and 5 stars for his comunication and people skills.
Not to mention sll the incredible views and encouragment to complete a tough hike

El tour fue increíble, Ronny fue un gran guía, resolvió nuestras inquietudes y nos instruyó no solo sobre los lugares sino sobre su cultura, su flora y su fauna.

We had an amazing experience doing the 4N/5D Salkantay track with our tour guide Owen. He enthusiastically and warmly shared his culture and country with us. His constant smile encouraged us to keep going on the tough uphills and got us all the way to Machu Picchu!

Rony was very attentive and made sure we had the best experience possible. He made sure we all had as much fun as possible while making sure we were always safe and still having a cultural experience. The 5 day Salkantay is something I will never forget

We did 5D/4N Salkantay trek with Machu Picchu team. It was an amazing experience. Accommodation was really nice, no electricity on the first two days but it was fine without. Ronny our guide was very passionate about the history of the trail and Peru.

My advice to anyone going would be to bring lots of water and snacks before as it can be expensive on the path. Also bring cash for tips!!
