I couldn’t give my experience of the 4 day Salkantay trek with Machu Picchu Team a higher rating, this was 100% down to my guides Jean Pierre and Frank Omar, they were both so kind and helpful and shared loads of really interesting information with us as well as being great fun and really adding to our time on the trek.

Wir hatten den Ausflug in den Manu-Nationalpark gebucht. Leider konnten wir den Ausflug aufgrund einer Erkrankung nicht antreten. Die Agentur hatte Verständnis für unsere Situation und zeigte sich hinsichtlich unserer Buchung sehr entgegenkommend. Ich kann diese Agentur wärmstens empfehlen. Ich war mit der Arbeit der Mitarbeiter sehr zufrieden!

We had the best experience we could have wished for with Machu Picchu Team. The 5 day Salkantay trek will not soon be forgotten thanks to Vladi and Eduardo who made this experience special and unforgettable for each one of us.

The overall mood was amazing and we had so much fun and felt very comfortable with one another thanks to the guide and their constant good mood and joy.

The food and accommodation were above our expectations. The food was so good and changed every meal and the accommodations were very comfortable regarding their location.

I did the 5D/4N Salkantay Trek and it was amazing! Our guide Steven was the best, he was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to teach us about the culture and history of the region. I would highly recommend the trek and Machu Picchu Team, and special thanks to Steven our guide.

We had an incredible 5-day Journey with our amazing guide Steven. Throughout the time he put in loads of effort accommodate the specific needs of the group (be it walking speed, dietary requirements, or literally any question about Incan and Peruvian history). He also put in a huge amount of personal touch - for instance a beautiful meditation in front of the glacier, using incense and playing music!! The food was great (and plenty),organisation top notch. Couldn't be happier. Best money I spent on my backpacking trip.

I had the best time on the Salkantay hike with Steven as our tour guide. He went out of his way to give us a full immersive experience, sharing his knowledge and tips. His constant motivation and smile kept the whole group in good spirits. A big big thank you to Steven, really appreciate all his effort !!

Epic Journey on the Salkantay Trail 5 day/4 night adventure. Steven our Expedition Guide was phenomenal. His knowledge and kind spiritedness was over the top. The trek was a challenge, but I made it the entire way and on with the group. I was also so blessed to be paired with an incredible group of fellow travelers, the bond we made along the way will be a gift to my soul for years to come. Every step is a win, and overcoming this challenge and trekking the journey is the real reward. Thank you Steven and all the great people on the Machu Pichu Team that made this dream of mine come true.

Our experience was brilliant with Machu Picchu Team, would highly recommend. Our guide Ronnie was brilliant ! And Raquel was also super nice in the office!

My Machu Picchu experience was amazing, I did the salkantay trek with Ronny and Stik, and they were incredible. The experience was enhanced even further with the reception help of Raquel, Joseu, and juanquita piticlean, such nice people and extremely helpful.

This was one of the best experiences of my life. The Salkantay trek was absolutely stunning and breathtaking like sleeping under the stars and seeing stunning scenery all around. It also challenged me in ways I never thought possible and allowed me to get in touch with not only nature but my Incan roots as well.

Big shout out to Vladmir the “Mountain King” who without a doubt is the best guide in all of Peru! Along with Eduardo, they both ensured that everyone on the trek was supported, encouraged, and motivated along the route. They shared amazing history, local traditions, great laughs, and good energy.

For a wonderful experience I recommend the Salkantay Trek but for a TRULY MAGNIFICENT, ONE OF A KIND TREK, I recommend doing it with Vladmir.
