I definitely had a way better time than I thought on this trek even though I was VERY excited. Although I was pushed hard It felt very good to have such a great guide (Nacho) to support and encourage not just me but all of us to take our time and have faith he would get us through. In the end I can gladly say I would do it all again and had an amazing time with this company!

It was a life changing experience! Me and my friends did the Salkantay trail with Machu Picchu Team and I honestly don’t even know how to begin explaining…
All the structure and organization is incredible. They have a kitchen team that comes with us thorough all the trail and cooks the most delicious meals ever. The accommodations that are included are simply amazing, we got to see stars every day!! (but be aware that you are in the middle of nature, so it’s a very raw experience). They have perfect logistics to take us from one place to another and the scheduled activities are super fun.
Most importantly, huge thanks to our guide Nacho, he was impeccable! Such a fun and supportive guy, he was so patient and was always worried about our well-being. Not to mention super knowledgeable and a great storyteller, I loved learning about the Incas through our journey! Grateful for having had him as our guide 🫶

I did the 5 days long Salkantay trek with Machu Picchu team and it was definetly the highlight of my trip. Our guide Nacho (Alexis) was really the best, he has a very huge knowledge about history and nature and his good way of storytelling made our hike much more interesting. Besides that he always paid attention to our health and to help us get through the difficulties of the hike. The food was amazing each day, we had several options to choose from and the portions were huge as well. Personally i also loved the accommodations during the trip, each place was unique and comfortable. My favourite was the first one where we slept in a glass dome, i have never seen such a bright sky before. I will forever be grateful for this experience! Thank you!
Incroyable expérience dans les hautes montagnes Andine. Équipe de qualité qui connaît le métier. Tout est prévu pour que l'expérience se passe à merveille. .Nous avons dormi dans des endroits incroyable et avions de super repas, frais et local. Et notre guide Alexis dit "Nacho" est un super gars qui connaît la montage et la culture Inca comme sa poche. Il sait créer un vrai groupe uni, et surtout il est bienveillant et mets la bonne ambiance avec sa bonne humeur, toujours positif!
