Machu Picchu Team was amazing. Amoroso was our tour guide and he was amazing. he was super attentive and made sure we were all coming along fine. the food and accommodation during the whole trip were amazing. very pretty views and got to know a lot about the land and the culture thanks to our tour guide. i will definitely be recommending them to anyone who wants to do the salkantay trek!

Elisban (aka Tupcac) led my group and I through an unforgettable five day trek. Tupac genuinely cared for each and everyone of us, always making sure we were comfortable and prepared for the tough hikes. His humor and passion for the local culture and nature made this tour so special. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everything from food to the accommodation was extremely well done. This trek was awesome! It was hard at times but rewarding! The views are great and the meals we had for breakfast, lunch and dinner were quite nice too!! Would highly recommend this hike, Amoroso was our guide and shared his wisdom, stories and experiences with us and was superb throughout all the days! A great experience and well organised.

What a fantastic 4D / 3N trekking with Machu Picchu Team. Bags, transport, food, and other logistics all sorted and all focus can be spent on the beautiful scenery and walking. Loved it and highly recommend

We had an amazing experience with Machu Picchu Team. Our guide was excellent – knowledgeable, motivating, and always made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the trek. The group size was perfect, and everyone got along really well, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

The trek itself is definitely challenging. The days are long, and there are some tough sections, but the breathtaking views and the incredible scenery make every step worth it.

We also paid extra for the Vistadome train on the way back. In hindsight, I wouldn’t recommend the upgrade. The regular train is perfectly comfortable, so you can save the extra money. However, I do highly recommend taking the train back instead of the bus. After four long days of hiking, it’s a much more relaxing journey and gives you a few more beautiful views to enjoy before heading back.
