I did the 4 day salkantay trek with Hans as our team leader. The trek is very challenging and exciting with food and glass dome accommodation provided in the price. Our team leader was Hans, he was very fun and passionate about Peruvian culture and everything the trek has to offer. The team is also very informative and will answer all your questions. From the chefs to the baggage workers and the tour guides I cannot recommend this company and experience enough. 5 stars I had a great time 👍

The Machu Picchu team was absolutely amazing Hans was so helpful and funny always in a good mood perking everyone up and knew all about the history and was very passionate he also helped me when i was feeling ill to be able to get a donkey to complete the second day of the 4 day salkantay. The chefs were amazing and never repeated a meal and all meals were really tasty provided 3 times a day. Also our duffel bags were always there on time thanks to the cowboys that transported them. The team couldn’t have been better it was an incredible experience!

I did the 4-day Salkantay Track with Machu Picchu Team. Everything was very well organized, from the briefing on the first day to the transportation, the hikes and the accomodation. Our guide Hans gave us all the important information on the surroundings and made sure we were all well. Joel and his kitchen team provided very good food everywhere we went and Walter and his team made sure that our luggage got where we slept over night.

spent 4 days hiking the salkantay trail with our guide hans, he was very accommodating and fun, had a breadth of knowledge with regards to the hike and incan history and made sure me and my friend stayed on track and motivated when we fell behind. incredible experience with an incredible guide

Our group had an amazing time on the 3N / 4D tour. Hans was our guide who had a lot of interesting knowledge to share and made sure we had fun and felt safe and informed throughout. The whole team complimented our experience, the food prepared by chef Joel was delicious and plentiful. The transportation was seamless and well organised with our bags being transported by Walter.

Also to add we opted for the tour without ticket or return as we booked 3 days before the trek began. Hans was at hand to answer questions and help arrange another guided tour of Machu Picchu a few days later.

We did the 5 day Salkantay trek with Steven as our guide. It was the adventure of a lifetime, challenging our hiking endurance and rewarding our efforts with diverse, spectacular views. Steven made the whole experience possible and excellent. He communicated all logistics every day, explaining the reasons for costs and restrictions. He gave deep explanations of the Quechua culture, local flora and fauna, and Incans. Mostly important, he demonstrated care, infinite patience, and leadership from the heart, ensuring the whole group got to where we needed and had a good experience.

Tribute to Steven: He was our guide for the 5-day Salkantay Trail Tour. He is, hands down, one of the most dedicated and authentic tour guides I have ever met or had. His knowledge about the culture, traditions, nature and everything we‘ve experienced along the trail was absolutely fascinating and stunning! Thank you so much for making this amazing adventure even more amazing! My mind is blown, and thank you again! 🫶🏼
