Very challenging experience but worth the effort to see Salcantay pass. Marco Antonio and the team took care of everything very well and made it engaging and enjoyable along the way. For the price the food and accommodations are adequate.

We had the most amazing time on our 4 day Salkantay trek. Our guides Amoroso and Victor were so knowledgeable and made the experience so fun. You have to do this once in a lifetime experience! Thank you Machu Pichu team!!
We did the 5d/4n trip and had an amazing time! The team were great including Micheal, who made sure all our belongings arrived safely and on time and chef Joel who made delicious food and very generous portions. Our guide Hans was very knowledgeable and energetic creating a great atmosphere for the team. Would highly recommend!
I did the 5D/4N Salkantay Trek with Machu Picchu team and it was great!!! Amazing landscapes and getting to fully experience the region. The guides were so friendly and wonderful - Edgar was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and Gabriel added to the vibes. The food was excellent and was hard to believe the amazing quality of what was prepared for us so remotely. Overall the organisation was good, however I would recommend getting the train back, or at least full details about the car option before deciding, as it wasn’t fully explained to us earlier that we would have to carry our duffel bags for a few hours with the car back option if we wanted more than just our small backpacks for the last night.
Awesome team. My partner and I had such an amazing 5 day salkantay trek. Some tough days but a huge payoff. It was great to have structure, food, and accom sorted in advance. We had two very helpful guides. Edgar was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and enthusiastic. Gabrielle always brought good vibes. The food was also fantastic. Amazed at how hard these people work
Also, take the altitude seriously and give yourself at least 48-72 hours in Cusco (or equivalent altitude)

Had an amazing time with Machu Picchu Team. Accommodation was great was very clean and had the best views! Edgar and Grabiel were great tour guides they really looked after us and were very informative along the hike. Food was also amazing had such great cooks food was fresh and delicious the team worked so hard to ensure we had the best time.
Excellent experience for the whole trip. Our tour guide Nestor was nothing short of a legend. Was very friendly could chat all day. Would highly recommend Nestor as a tour guide
