Ich habe die 3-tägige Luctapata-Tour mit Machu Picchu Team gemacht und kann sie absolut empfehlen. Von Anfang an war alles top organisiert, die Autofahrt verlief reibungslos und wir hatten immer einen Guide als Ansprechpartner. Ziplining zusammen mit dem Guide und die wirklich heißen Quellen waren echte Highlights.
Die Wanderung am zweiten Tag ist etwas anstrengend, aber gut machbar. Die Guides achten sehr darauf, dass es allen gut geht, und organisieren bei Bedarf Alternativen wie Bus oder Zug. Gleichzeitig bleibt die Gruppe immer gut zusammen.
Unser Guide Genrri war besonders hervorzuheben – sehr lieb, lustig und bestens organisiert. Außerdem hatten die Guides ein großes Wissen über die Strecke und die Geschichte rund um Machu Picchu.
Insgesamt eine super organisierte Tour mit tollen Guides und unvergesslichen Erlebnissen.
Wir haben die 3-tägige Llaqtapata-Tour zu zweit beim Machu Picchu Team gebucht – begleitet von Genrri – und es war von Anfang bis Ende einfach top. 😌
Alles war super durchdacht: Der Start mit dem Autotransport lief reibungslos, die Fahrer waren zuverlässig und angenehm. Genrri hat uns im Vorfeld bestens vorbereitet (inklusive Packliste) und war während der ganzen Tour immer erreichbar. Er ist extrem erfahren, gleichzeitig aber auch menschlich total herzlich, aufmerksam und einfach ein richtig guter Begleiter. Es war sehr lustig mit ihm!
Ein Highlight war definitiv die Zipline-Experience – richtig cool für das Abenteuerfeeling. Auch die heißen Quellen in Santa Teresa waren perfekt zum Entspannen danach. Die Übernachtung in den Sky-Dorms mitten im Dschungel war etwas ganz Besonderes – wunderschön und ruhig.
Am zweiten Tag gab es eine sehr Interessante Kaffee Tour bei einer lokalen Famile, ganz liebe Menschen und toll erklärt.
Es ging mir leider gesundheitlich nicht gut an dem Tag und ich konnte die Wanderung nicht mitmachen. Aber genau da hat sich gezeigt, wie professionell und flexibel das Team ist: Es wurde sofort eine Lösung gefunden, ich konnte bequem mit dem Bus zur Hydroelectrica fahren und meine Begleitung wurde problemlos einer passenden Wandergruppe zugeteilt. Ich habe mich zu jedem Zeitpunkt gut aufgehoben gefühlt.
Alle Details wurden uns erklärt, wir wurden überall unterstützt, und am Ende haben wir uns alle wieder getroffen und sind gemeinsam in Aguas Calientes angekommen. Der Guide hat mich dort sogar am Bahnhof abgeholt, meine Tasche getragen und mich bis zum Hotel gebracht.
Man merkt einfach: Dieses Team denkt wirklich an alles und kümmert sich ehrlich um seine Gäste. Eine absolut empfehlenswerte Tour – vielen Dank für dieses besondere Erlebnis! Danke Genrri ❤️
Nemias was a great guide for the day visiting the Sacred Valley tourism sites. We had an enjoyable time and would highly recommend.

Isolated, the visit to Machu Picchu alone would be worth it with Amoroso as an expert guide. But you’d be hard pushed to find a favourite day out of the 5 on the salkantay trip!
I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have shared this journey with a group that I would now call friends. Diverse in background/country/age, it’s a testament to Amoroso who managed and at times rallied all to ensure it was a collective achievement. He also committed enough time to get to know everyone individually (on the first day with names - which goes a long way). Sharing his wealth of knowledge and wisdom, not only over this trek (he knows like the back of his hand) but also in life. I strongly believe that the trip would not have been half the success without his experience, laughter and guidance.
I was skeptical about the difficulty of this hike and whether I would be able to complete. I had thought maybe that the distance could have been spread out but upon completion and reflection, amoroso and the Machu Picchu team have this spot on. I would admit that the dreaded days 2 and 4 were not even that taxing.
Accommodations were as shown and you’re going to find that the air will get through but I slept like a baby all 4 nights. Food was fine enough given the labour the labour the chef would have to put in and having it moved daily - I would maybe ask for more eggs in the morning but that’s just me.
An overall unforgettable experience that ended too quickly and I’ll certainly be recommending the Machu Picchu team and Amoroso to anyone that will listen!

5 jours à travers des paysages qui changent du tout au tout : des sommets à plus de 4600m, jusqu’à la jungle tropicale.
Chaque jour avait son ambiance et ses défis qui nous ont mené jusqu'au Machu Picchu !
Un énorme merci à Machu Picchu Team pour l’organisation du début à la fin.
Et surtout à notre guide, Amoroso, pour son énergie, sa bonne humeur et ses explications qui ont rendu cette aventure encore plus spéciale.
