Booked the Salkantay Trek with these guys, had so much fun as well as breath taking scenery. The guides Hans and Jose were not only extremely knowledgeable but let everyone go at their own pace with one at the front, the other at the back. Our chef Joel and his team, including Carlos the mule handler were exceptional! Not only was there vast amounts of food at every meal, the quality and flavour were unbelievable especially considering the cooking facilities and remoteness.
Ten out of ten from me. Great value for money. Cannot recommend this company highly enough.

I had a wonderful experience with Machu Picchu Team on the 5 day Salkantay treck. Our guide Nacho / Alexis was very nice and helpful. Even though I had some struggles on the uphill part he was very understanding and helped me through it. I learned a lot about the nature and the Inka culture and there were a lot of other activities additionally to the hiking. The food was also very good and there was always enough. Even for me as a vegetarian they were very accommodating. Would really recommend this experience with them to everyone. Thank you!

We had such an amazing experience with Machu Picchu Team during our Salkantay Trek! From start to finish, everything was well organized and enjoyable. Our guide, Nacho, was absolutely fantastic, very patient with us, funny, and full of positive energy. He made the whole journey even more special. We learned so much about the Inca culture and history in a very engaging and passionate way. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend Machu Picchu Team to anyone!!

Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir une personne avec une gentillesse débordante, une sensibilité et sens de dévouement sans norme. Il a pris le temps de nous partager des informations très intéressantes sur la réalité du pays et des habitants du Pérou. Il a une présence rassurante et motivante tout au long de l'expérience.

I did the Salkantay Trek with Machu Picchu team and couldn’t recommend it enough! Our guide, Edgar, was amazing. He was extremely supportive and knowledgeable and made sure we all felt comfortable and our needs were taken care of! Definitely book with them, it was incredible!

Had a great time with our guide Edgar on the Salkantay trek - 5days 4nights. Good food and accommodation on the trek. We didn’t have Machu Picchu reservations but Edgar was amazing and helped us buy them on the day we arrived and even organised another guide for Machu Picchu. Would 10/10 recommend.

Our guide Edgar was absolutely incredible. A kind man who genuinely cared about every single member of our group and looked out for us. We had the most amazing time on the Salkantay and the food and accommodation were good and everything ran smoothly despite landslides on the third day. The most breathtaking views and we were able to book the day before we left. Thank you Edgar you are the best!

Did the Salkantay Trek with Edgar as our guide, he was brilliant. A few of us had injuries or got sick, and he handled it really well, adjusting things so everyone could keep going. Thanks to him, we all finished. The best guide, would recommend.
