Absolutely loved my experience with Machu Picchu team!
I booked the 5-day salkantay Trek in person 2 days before we started and it was a super smooth process. Staff were super friendly too! Had a briefing the day before we left and received all the informatión we needed.
On the actual tríp we had Edgar as our guide and he was great! Super friendly and knowledgable about all the treks, cultures and any tips and tricks that could help us. He went above and beyond to make it a good experience and definitely succeeded. Additionally, we had a variety of yummy food and I found that even despiste all the hiking, I was never hungry.
Furthermore, I hadn't booked my machu Picchu ticket ahead of time so once we arrived in agua calientes, myself and a couple of other people had to queue up and get our tickets at the ministry of Perú there. This meant that we were a day out of sync with the group we had walked with. Despiste this, Machu pichu team was fabulous and once we had our tickets, arranged for a guide (Carlos) to take us around Machu pichu so we didnt miss out on anything!
Overall, I chose Machu Picchu team as several friends had recomended them and I am really glad I did!

Our group did the 5 day Salkantay trip. What a great experience it was. The trip was planned out very well by the company. Our guides Abel and Jetlie were great. They were friendly, supportive and knowledgeable from start to finish.

We did the 5 day Salkantay Trek with Abel and Jetlie as our guides whom we LOVED. Highly recommend!!! Food was delicious, accommodation was great and learned a lot about the history and culture of the Inca as well. We had a great group, overall such a wonderful experience!!!!!

Would highly recommend doing the salkantay trek it was incredible! Me and my friends did the 5D4N option which was awesome, very well organised, and our guides abel and mr jetlie were fantastic providing great guidance and assistance throughout the adventure. The accommodation and meals were great!! Big thankyou to mr jetlie and abelito for making our time incredible!!!

Abel and jet le where great. Abel is a vet and he is great fun but also gave us some meaningful speech which I appreciated. Jet le is a darling and is new but already very pro. We were very well looked after.

We did the 4 day Salkantay trail it was amazing very good price our tour guides were Abel and Jetlee both amazing both of their English is very good I highly recommend those guides

I had an amazing time on my 5 day salkantay trek with Machu Picchu teams. Everything was so organized, the accommodations were incredible and the food was great. Our guide Edgar was very friendly and knowledgeable and always helped me when I needed some encouragement. Overall an unforgettable experience, learned and experienced so much.

Wir haben den 4-tägigen Salkantay-Trek gemacht. Es war eine wunderschöne Wanderung mit mehreren Highlights wie der Humantany-Lake, Salkantay-Pass und natürlich Machu Picchu! Die Organisation funktionierte einwandfrei. Auch das Essen war fantastisch. Unsere Guides Vladimir und Jose haben uns viele interessante Infos migegeben. Ein gelungenes Abenteuer.
