I had an amazing experience with Machu Picchu Team on the 5-day Salkantay Trek. Our guides, Juancho and Eduardo, were fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and always making sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. The trek was challenging but absolutely beautiful, and everything was well organized from start to finish. Highly recommended!

I did the 5-day/4-night Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu with them and had one of the best trekking experiences of my life - the incredible scenery, ecosystem changes, deep dives into history and culture from the Inca times, the food, and nature were thoroughly nourishing.
And above all, I could not have asked for a better trek guide than Marco Antonio. He was on-point organising, guiding us, and was always there for us to support us. His knowledge of the route, the history, and the passion with which he explains everything is inspiring.
I injured my foot and Marco went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care off while being in remote wilderness on a harsh trail.

Absolutely loved my experience with Machu Picchu team!
I booked the 5-day salkantay Trek in person 2 days before we started and it was a super smooth process. Staff were super friendly too! Had a briefing the day before we left and received all the informatión we needed.
On the actual tríp we had Edgar as our guide and he was great! Super friendly and knowledgable about all the treks, cultures and any tips and tricks that could help us. He went above and beyond to make it a good experience and definitely succeeded. Additionally, we had a variety of yummy food and I found that even despiste all the hiking, I was never hungry.
Furthermore, I hadn't booked my machu Picchu ticket ahead of time so once we arrived in agua calientes, myself and a couple of other people had to queue up and get our tickets at the ministry of Perú there. This meant that we were a day out of sync with the group we had walked with. Despiste this, Machu pichu team was fabulous and once we had our tickets, arranged for a guide (Carlos) to take us around Machu pichu so we didnt miss out on anything!
Overall, I chose Machu Picchu team as several friends had recomended them and I am really glad I did!

It was a very excellent and funny trip with ronny and we did enjoy a lot of thing. I would recommend every one to do the trip with ronny. He is a very nice and handsome guy.

We did the Salkantay trek for 5D4N with the Machu Picchu team and had a great time! Our guides Abel and Mr Jetlie were very friendly and informative. The trek was well planned and the food was great (they even accommodate dietary restrictions !) overall great experience, highly recommend!

During our 4 day trek, Max and Viktor did an amazing job leading us across the Salkantay Mountains. Teaching us history and sharing their culture and heritage with us all. I especially appreciate them, since I was a weak hiker and struggled a lot throughout the 1st and 2nd day of hiking due to altitude sickness and emotionally exhausted, Max and Viktor took turns and stayed back with me and to whoever else that was struggling to guide me to the finish line. Gave me good tips to breathe and words of encouragement. Now I can say , I walked 4 days in tears and sweat and I finally got to see Machu Picchu and share this story with my family. I’m proud of myself for not giving up, thanks to Max and Viktor!! They also were the life of the party and having fun with us which made it very memorable for us all. I recommend these two with every group that wants to do 4/5 days of hiking to Machu and through Salkantay, especially to those that want to get out of their comfort zone and try something new!!

It was a fantastic experience with our guide Ronny, explained everything and answered all the questions. One of the best. Couldn't be better.
