The Sacred Valley Tour was well priced and Juan in particular was an excellent guide, would recommend!

Crazy good experience! The trip has been hard but very satisfying but the most important part was the team, all the guys we met were amazing and the guide, Omar with his assistant Saif really made our experience unforgettable. Omar knowledge through all the trek mixed with the food of the chef Wario and the help of the horsemans really made easy and enjoyable what in reality should have been very tough! Thanks to everyone, I really recommend this company and Omar!!!

What an incredible experience! The Salkantay Trek was definitely challenging at times, but the views, the adventure, and the whole experience made it so worth it. It’s something I’ll remember for a long time! Every one in our group was amazing & it was a pleasure to get to know them all along the way.

A big thank you to Hansi, our guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and always making sure everyone was doing okay.

And Joel, our cook, deserves a special mention because the food was SO good! I honestly don’t know how he managed to cook such great meals out there in the mountains. 😂

Also a huge thank you to Cornelio, our cowboy & the mules who worked so hard taking our gear over the mountain.

An unforgettable Salkantay Trek!

Our 4-day Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu with Machu Picchu Team was an incredible experience, honestly more than I could have asked for.

The trek itself is no joke. The 4 days were physically demanding, with long days of hiking, altitude, steep climbs, and plenty of moments when you really feel every step. But what made the difference was the people. Our main guide, Aurelio, was outstanding. He knew the trail incredibly well, kept us motivated when things got tough, and always seemed to know when we needed a little encouragement or a break.

And it wasn't just Aurelio. The entire team, from the porters to the chefs and the organizers, was amazing. They worked incredibly hard behind the scenes to make sure we were comfortable, well-fed, and taken care of throughout the trek. The meals especially were far beyond what I expected on a multi-day trek!

Looking back, every difficult climb, sore muscle, and drop of sweat was absolutely worth it. Reaching Machu Picchu after completing the Salkantay Trek made the experience that much more rewarding.

A huge thank you to Aurelio and the entire Machu Picchu Team for making this such a memorable and successful adventure. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering the Salkantay Trek. 🏔️🥾🇵🇪

Ik zou een ieder aanraden om de Salkantay trek te boeken bij Machu Picchu team. Alles wat top geregeld, de slaapplekken, het eten, het vermaak en ga zo maar door.

Wij hebben ook nog eens het geluk dat Juan onze gids was. Hij draagt ontzettend veel kennis over de geschiedenis van de inca’s en de omgeving. Juan is een rustige, grappige en bovenal vriendelijke man. Ik hoop voor iedereen dat zij ook Juan als gids krijgen.

The Salkantay trek was amazing. Amoroso and angel were both so friendly and supportive. I highly recommend. Beware that the trek is not easy but it’s worth it!
