Nothing to say about the trek itself. The landscapes are magnificent and the organization during the hike is quite solid. The guides were great.
However, I have a reservation regarding the handling of complaints. Since the luggage was not ready on time upon our return (as it should have been), we had to rebook a night bus as well as a hotel for the night. Machu Picchu team was rather reluctant to provide the requested refund following an organizational error on their part.
Additional tip: take a filtered water bottle. Once you arrive at the campsite, it is sometimes complicated to obtain drinking water within a reasonable timeframe.

Steven and Deybi were excellent tour guides! 5/5 experience. They were friendly, warm, kind, and easy going. It was a pleasure to have them as my tour guides for the 5 day salkantay hike. They would be excellent guides for any group in the future.

I did the 5D/4N Salkantay Trek with Machu Picchu Team and it was an amazing experience!! With Edgar and JP as our guides we had the best time! Everything was taken care of: beautiful and stunning hikes during the day, nice accomodations during the night and freshly cooked meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Thnx Edgar and JP!

Really enjoyed my 2 days Inca trail with the Macchu Picchu team. Miguel was an excellent host as well as Alice. They made us feel welcome and looked after us. All the information we needed were provided for us, I’ll really recommend.

We did the 2-day trail and were very satisfied with our guides Miguel and Alice.
The walking pace was pleasant and we had enough time for photo stops. The explanations were interesting and not too long.

Team Machu Pichu is fantastic, they worked with us to accommodate our requests and changes. Our guide - Frank Omar is just exceptional and great human being overall. He went above and beyond when I was injured during the hike from Salkantay, lucky to have him. The planning was good , food was good and so was most of accommodation, great value for money. Highly recommended.

Hi from a Canadian trekker! Yuri was my guide and he was so thoughtful throughout this 5 day Salkantay trek. He always provided such great knowledge and created such a great vibe amongst our group.
