The 5-day Salkantay tour with Machu Picchu team was amazing. Our tour guide Edgar was really helpful and had answers to all our questions. Each day three truly delicious 2-course meals were cooked for us. The team went above and beyond to give us a great time, I would highly recommend to do this tour.

We participated in the RAINBOW MOUNTAIN TOUR FROM CUSCO WITH RED VALLEY. The guide Milton was very friendly and energetic, and he introduced us to many Inca and Quechua cultures and stories. After reaching Rainbow Mountain, he led us to climb to the highest point and Red Valley. Along the way, he took care of every group member, ensuring all members were within his line of sight and paying attention to everyone's physical condition. Along the way, he also told us many stories about Rainbow Mountain (such as the origin of the name Vinicunca), and Milton supplemented us with a lot of mountain knowledge. He could clearly state the names of many peaks, and he asked us about Taiwan's highest peak, Yushan, learned the Chinese pronunciation of Yushan, and the altitude of Yushan. Milton's English is very fluent and clear. I chatted with him the entire way down the mountain, exchanging many stories about the sights and culture of Peru and Taiwan. I strongly recommend Milton to all tourists who want to visit Rainbow Mountain; you are sure to have a wonderful memory!

I had Esteven and Irwin as my guides for the Salkantay Trek, and I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough. They were both incredibly kind, down-to-earth people and made the whole experience so much better. They were always helpful, friendly, and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the trek. I’m really grateful to have had them as my guides and would definitely recommend them to anyone doing the Salkantay Trek!

I did the 5 day Salkantay Trek with them and they were amazing. There was a lot of drama about a year ago regarding their bankruptcy and splitting from Machu Picchu Reservations. Talking to our guide who had done various tours in Peru for nearly 40 years, the issues at the end of 2025/beginning of 2026 were a result of prior management who took over from the original owner. The people who run Machu Picchu Teams are the original guides and owner who came back and inherited all the assets/network of Machu Picchu Reservations after the fraud from the old management. My friends and I had a wonderful time, no concerns at all, and they did a wonderful job of ensuring we were able to finish the hike and everything

I had such a great experience! Although the weather was not the best, Steven, our tour guide always brought the best vibes and so much interesting knowledge and information about the Nature, history and culture of the Inka people which made the tour absolutely fascinating and worthwhile! If you do the tour I can only hope you have Steven and Erwin as your guides. Much love to the “Sexy Condors”!

Completing the 4-day, 3-night Salkantay Trek with our lead guide Omar and the Machu Picchu Team was an absolute dream, and I am forever grateful for such a deeply meaningful experience. The trek itself is unbelievably beautiful, but what made these four days truly magical was the incredible crew taking care of us every step of the way.

Omar brought the trail to life with his deep knowledge of Inca history, culture, and local traditions. He even taught us words in Quechua, the native language of the Incas, which made the journey feel so authentic. Beyond his expertise, Omar felt like a true friend; motivating us on the trail, checking in on everyone, and helping serve our meals. Said was also a massive help throughout the trip; he was constantly checking on us, keeping our spirits high with his kindness, and even offering to carry our daypacks when the high altitude got tough.

The food was another huge highlight; the chef and his assistant prepared delicious, high-quality meals every single day that gave us all the energy we needed. Between the horsemen moving our main luggage and the warmth of the whole crew, we felt so genuinely cared for. If you take this trip, definitely ask for Omar!

My friends and I took on the Inca Jungle Trail Trek and honestly there is nothing like it. From the standpoint of what we did on the trip it was truly surreal, mountain biking down the Andies, rafting in the river, zip lining with an impeccable view. Of course Machu Picchu was everything anticipated and more the physical challenge to reach such a glorious view made it that much better. Hospitality was amazing, comfy and relaxing quarters which was needed after the busy days. Food was great and each meal slightly different which kept the experience expansive. Now with all that being said as much as all those mentioned factors were great what set it apart was our tour guide, Nestor. Knowledgeable, timely, funny, you could feel that you were taken care of when he was around. The whole experience was amazing but it honestly was an unbelievable blessing that we got Nestor. He truly made it an iconic one.
