I just finished the Salkantay 5-day trek led by Steven and he was the best. He was very helpful and very accommodating for all our needs. I definitely recommend this trek with the Machu Picchu Team.

Our guide, Steven, is the best guide anyone could ask! We did the 5 day Salkantay trek and from the first day, Steven made our group feel like a family. He is so knowledgeable not only about the trail, history and areas but also gave great tips on how to approach the trek and more importantly how to get the best sleeping pods before any of the other groups arrived. He went above and beyond by arranging alternative transportation for us when altitude sickness got the best of us. He is honestly the best tour guide I’ve met and he helped us make the best of the trek despite the sickness. We could not thank him enough for his help and kindness!

Wow what an amazing experience! Such a beautiful journey with great food and a cool and diverse type of accomodations. A big thanks to Stik and particularly Ronnie who was our main guide. their energy and knowledgeability meant everything flowed perfectly from place to place and we were fully informed on all the history and culture from town to town. Would heavily recommend booking with Machu Picchu Team.

One of the best experiences of my life. Ronny as our tour guide was incredible, he really made our experience unforgettable with his personality and his tour guiding skills.
Special mention to Stik also, he gave us some great laughs and will make an excellent tour guide.

Ronny and Stick were excellent. They were incredibly friendly, personable, and made a real effort to get to know everyone in our group. They made our 5-day trek an unforgettable experience.

Their level of care, attention to detail, and extensive knowledge of the history and surrounding area was fascinating and added so much to the journey. They were always happy to answer questions and made every day enjoyable.

The chefs were also outstanding, preparing amazing meals throughout the trek, and the muleteers worked incredibly hard to ensure everything ran smoothly. Every member of the team played a part in making the experience so special.
