My husband and I just finished the Salkantay Trek with Machu Picchu Team, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Everything was perfectly organized, and our guides Owen and Angel were amazing.

Owen was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and always made sure everyone was safe and nobody was left behind. Angel was equally wonderful, calm, helpful, cheerful, and always there whenever we needed anything. Together, they made a challenging trek so much more enjoyable!

I highly recommend Machu Picchu Team, and if you can, definitely ask for Owen and Angel. They made this adventure truly unforgettable!

We have just finished the Salkantay Trek with Machu Picchu Team, and there is only one thing we can say: this experience will stay with us forever and will always have a special place in our memories.

Everything was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. Our guides, Owen and Angel, were an incredible team, an unbeatable duo. They were extremely knowledgeable, informative, and, most importantly, made sure that we felt safe throughout the entire trek.

Owen shared so much interesting and meaningful information about the Incas, their history, and who they really were, while also giving us a genuine insight into Peruvian culture and the people of Peru. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always made us feel safe and supported. He would wait for the very last person in the group so that nobody was ever left behind, and he constantly kept our energy and spirits high. And trust us… you need that on this trail! 😅

Then there was Angel, our calm and reassuring presence throughout the trek. He always made sure that we had everything we needed and that nobody was missing anything along the way. He was cheerful, full of energy, and a great dancer, showing us just how much Peruvians know how to have fun and enjoy life!

We also spent the last two days of our journey with Angel, and we genuinely thank him so much. He taught us and showed us so many things, always made us feel safe, and was constantly willing to answer any question we had, no matter how small.

In our opinion, Machu Picchu Team is one of the best agencies you could choose for an experience like this. If you have the opportunity, we highly recommend asking for Owen and Angel as your guides. They truly made our experience even more special.

This was an incredible experience from start to finish. Absolutely everything was organised perfectly, making the trek a smooth and highly enjoyable experience. Our guide Steven was fantastic, and really made an effort to maintain high levels of morale amongst the team throughout the 5 days. I couldn’t reccomend this trip more for anyone looking for an unforgettable time in Peru !
