We had the most amazing time with Steven our guide. The whole time experience was seamless with Machu Picchu Team. From storing our luggage, transporting our duffels and sleeping bags and the meals each day. Steven the highlight of our trip and was so caring, fun, knowledgeable and made us feel like a team . We learnt about the landscape, plants, did a beautiful meditation on the top of the Salkantay pass. Thank you so much for an experience of a lifetime.

we loved our experience with manchu picchu team! our guide nacho (alexis) made sure we all had the best experience possible. we did the 5 day salkantay trek and even though we thought we couldn’t get trough while doing it, we just keep a great memory of our trip!
My family and I just completed the 4-Day Inca Jungle Trail to Machu Picchu with Machu Picchu Team, and it was truly the experience of a lifetime. This was our first trip to Peru, and from the moment we left Cusco until we stood at the top of Machu Picchu on the fourth day, everything exceeded our expectations.
Our group consisted of me, my wife (who was celebrating her 50th birthday), our 19-year-old daughter, and our 17-year-old son. The tour offered the perfect combination of adventure, physical challenge, incredible scenery, and Peruvian history and culture.
The hike itself was physically demanding, but every step was worth it. Along the way we enjoyed an amazing variety of activities, including white-water rafting, an exhilarating mountain bike ride down the Andes, and zip-lining across a spectacular gorge. Each activity was well organized, professionally run, and made us feel completely safe.
What truly made this trip exceptional was our guide, Aurelio Sanchez. Aurelio was knowledgeable, passionate, patient, and incredibly attentive throughout the entire journey. He shared fascinating information about the history, culture, plants, wildlife, and the Inca civilization, making every part of the trek more meaningful. He constantly encouraged our group and made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the experience.
The highlight, of course, was reaching Machu Picchu. Hiking up on the final morning and seeing this incredible wonder for the first time is something our family will never forget. Aurelio then gave us a fantastic guided tour that helped us appreciate the site's rich history and significance.
To make the trip even more memorable, Aurelio surprised my wife with a small birthday cake complete with candles at the top of Machu Picchu to celebrate her 50th birthday. It was such a thoughtful gesture that meant so much to our family and perfectly reflected the level of care and hospitality we experienced throughout the tour.
If you're considering visiting Machu Picchu and want an adventure that combines hiking, biking, rafting, zip-lining, breathtaking scenery, and an unforgettable cultural experience, I cannot recommend the Machu Picchu Team and Aurelio Sanchez highly enough. TripadvisorWe hiked 5 days with Amoroso and it was absolutely wonderful. Amoroso was personable, lively, caring, and full of knowledge. I very much appreciated his daily check ins confirming my abilities to continue on. His humor was contagious and we enjoyed every minute with him. The coordination of the trip is quite impressive as well. We absentmindedly forgot our bags on the last day and the office coordinated for them to get back to Cusco and be shipped to us. 10/10 for Machu Picchu Team. Fizemos o Salkantay Trek de 5 dias, minha esposa, meu filho e eu, antes de começar pensamos em desistir por causa da dificuldade e da altitude, porém tomamos a decisão de fazer o Trek, confesso que não foi fácil, mas foi possÃvel devido ao extremo profissionalismo dos guias Yuri e Jean Pierre, eu nunca gostei da idéia de ir com guias, mas depois dessa experiência mudei de idéia. Esses guias realmente fizeram o que era difÃcil parecer fácil, fizemos quase 75 km em 5 dias em uma altitude média de 4mil metros, foi algo sensacional que ficara guardado em nossas memórias.

We hadden een geweldige tijd met Juancho Escalante. Hij legt alles duidelijk uit en zorgt dat je overal op tijd bent. Het eten tijdens de trip was uitstekend er wordt goed rekening gehouden met allergieën of vegetarisch. Hele fijne maatschappij!
I had an amazing experience on the 5-day Salkantay Trek with Machu Picchu Teams. Everything was well organized, the food was excellent, and the camps were great.
The biggest highlight, however, was our guide, Juancho Escalante. From the very beginning, he created such a warm and family-like atmosphere within the group. By the end of the trek, it truly felt like we had become a little family. He made sure everyone felt included, motivated, and comfortable, no matter their hiking experience.
Juancho also has a fantastic sense of humor. He kept us laughing every day, making even the toughest climbs much more enjoyable. At the same time, he shared interesting information about the local culture, history, and nature, which made the experience even more meaningful.
I highly recommend Machu Picchu Teams, and if you have the chance to trek with Juancho Escalante, you're in for an unforgettable adventure!
