Amoroso was exceptional on the trip. All the accommodations were fitted and ready to go with no issues. Dinners were great every night. Very knowledgeable out the terrain and overall just an excellent guide. I would recommend him to anyone.

The tour itself was a great experience, and our guide Amoroso did a fantastic job guiding and supporting us through the five day trek.
The food was great and felt very nourishing.
However, the return trip by car/bus is not well organized at all. We waited at a restaurant for hours and were told we had to wait to be led to the car. By the time we were brought to a parking lot, not were the bus left, it was too late and we missed the first bus despite having asked multiple times if we could leave earlier.
Despite this it was a great trip and would recommend, just be cautious about the trip back to Cusco.

As someone who struggled a lot during this trek, I felt very lucky to be in the hands of this team. Specifically my guide Alexis(Nachito) He made the whole group connect and give us the energy to keep going, as well as options if we were struggling. Wouldn’t pick any other company. If you are planning on doing a Salkantay trek or any other use this company.

Geweldige Salkantay tocht van 4 dagen gedaan. Prachtige en pittige zeer goed georganiseerde tocht onder leiding van de twee geweldige gidsen Youri en Jean-Pierre.
Ze hebben veel persoonlijke aandacht voor iedereen en geven vele goede adviezen gedurende de reis.
Kortom, een tocht om nooit te vergeten.

We hebben met ons gezin deelgenomen aan de salkantay trek van 4 dagen en het was fantastisch! Youri was een fijne gids die veel kon vertellen. We hebben de laatste 2 dagen alleen met Jean Pierre als gids gespendeerd. Hij was zo vriendelijk en heeft onze ervaring nog beter gemaakt! Echt een aanrader.

Ik heb de salkantay trek gedaan met mijn famillie. Het was een bijzondere ervaring, met prachtige natuur. We zijn super goed begeleidt door de gidsen Youri en Jean Pierre. Beide waren heel enthousiast en oprecht!!

Awesome experience couldn’t recommend doing this experience with any other company, we were looked after exceptionally. Our guide was awesome (Alexis) and he went above and beyond to care and help the entire group. If I could give 10 stars I would, definitely choose the Machu Picchu Team if you are planning this!
