Loved the 4 day salkantay trek with Steven and Gabriel! Def recommend

Nice tour, especially our tour guide Steven was really in to the condition of every member. He explained everything, even in needed details when we asked and multiple times when it was not totally clear for someone. Steven is always honest and can really level with all members, he makes jokes but can explain the important details as well. Only the dinner on the last day was not so good, the quality of the food high up in the mountains was even beter than the dinner in Machu Picchu town, bit of a shame as it was the last dinner we got. Overall, good experience and everything was well arranged!

It was a challenging hike, but the guide made it a fun experience regardless. The views were worth it as well. Highly recommend this company! :)

We had a great time on the Salkantay Trek with out Guide Alexis! All accomadations were lovely and the food was really good. The hike is diefinitly worth it and was a lot of fun! Thank you tothewhole Team :)

Machu Picchu team provided a truly incredible experience that I will remember forever. In particular, our guide Juancho Escalante was truly wonderful and was not only a brilliant guide with a deep knowledge of history and customs but also an incredibly generous and kind man who created a group dynamic that has resulted in some incredibly meaningful friendships. Our chef Raymundo fed us with delicious meals throughout the entire trek. Thank you Machu Picchu team, and most of all thank you Juancho.

Couldn’t have higher praise for this company and particularly for the team that took us from Cusco to Machu Picchu! Raymundo and his fellow kitchen team prepared loads of excellent food for us three times a day, and everyone involved was similarly dedicated, from the van drivers to the porters. Enormous shoutout to our guide Juancho, or Juan Escalanto. The journey wouldn’t have been the same without his kindness, honesty, professionalism, and deep knowledge of Andean culture and history. He created an incredibly welcoming and fun atmosphere from the first minute of the trek to our arrival in Machu Picchu. Could not have asked for a better guide. Thank you Juan!

Just completed the Salkantay Trek with Juancho Escalante and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. Juancho is the most incredible tour guide one could ever ask for. He provided constant support during challenging times and provided insightful knowledge on ancient Inca culture. There is not a guide I would rather have during this unforgettable experience.

The entire trip was incredibly well handled and I must shout out the cooking staff as well specifically Raymoundo as he constantly provided incredible meals.

Overall, very grateful for my experience with Machu Picchu Teams and specifically very grateful for having Juancho as my main tour guide and Jean Pierre as our co tour guide as well.

We had an unforgettable experience on the Salkantay Trek with The Machu Pichu team, led by Juancho Escalante. Juancho was understanding and accommodating to everyones needs and levels along the way and always willing to adapt plans to ensure everyone felt safe and happy. Head chef Raymundo was also very accommodating to my vegetarian needs with meals adapted to my allergies. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family who will look to do the treks in the future !
