This was a life changing experience! Every member of the Machu Picchu Team was so helpful, kind, and passionate about what they do. My guide was Alexis/Nachito and we did the Salkantay 4 day Trek. He and Eduardo shared stories and traditional Inca rituals that enhanced the trek. Some parts were challenging but no matter what, Nachito checked in on me, made sure I was good, and gave me knee braces when they were hurting. They made sure everyone had no stress and had a good time. It was so amazing to meet other travelers around the world and the group size made it possible to get to know each other, share laughs, and share experiences. Also, compared to other groups, the locations of the camps were better for each day so that the distance was broken up better. The meals were so good. All the experiences were so cool and I can’t recommend the Machu Picchu team enough for activities in Peru.
Did the 4 day Inca jungle trail with Nestor. Had an amazing time, activities were fun, food was great and the guide was fantastic too, very informative and helpful and made the trip super enjoyable.

Le Salkantey Trek avec Machu Picchu Team a été une aventure extraordinaire, et c’est en grande partie grâce à notre guide, Juancho, Plus qu’un simple guide, Juan a été un véritable grand frère pour nous, un professeur passionné qui nous a transmis l'histoire de sa terre, et même un médecin attentionné quand la fatigue ou l'altitude se faisaient sentir.
Face aux imprévus, c'est quelqu'un qui ne lâche rien : il trouve toujours des solutions pour nous et ne nous abandonne jamais, peu importent les difficultés. Il a su trouver les mots justes pour nous motiver, nous tirer vers le haut et nous pousser à nous dépasser à chaque étape.

I had a great experience doing the 5 day Salkantay trek with Machu Picchu team. The accommodations and food were great, as was my guide Juancho. Juan clearly had a deep knowledge of incan history, and the stories he told at each stop always helped me understand the deeper historical context of this trek.
