This trip will be an amazing lifelong memory of mine. Big shout out to our guides Nachito (aka Alexis) and Eduardo they are the most kind, caring, and helpful people ever. I ended up losing my bag (passport, money, and camera) on a van on the way to Salkantay Trek… but before I knew it they went above and beyond running to a spot to get service, contacted the driver, and by the next morning at 5am they had someone hike all the way up to us and deliver it to me. Besides that mishap, the views were outstanding and I met some amazing people along the way. I loved my experience and will remember it forever.

Machu Picchu Team is a fun, well organized, and amazing to accompany that facilitated my four-day Salkantay Trek. The team and our guide, Alexis, went above and beyond to make the challenging journey as easy as possible as well as ensured our accommodations were comfortable. My experience with Machu Picchu team was very good. I did the 4 day Salkantay trek and our guide Alexis (nachito) was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Peru. Everything ran smoothly along the whole trip and I really enjoyed it.

De 4-daagse salkantay trek was super met onze guides Nachito (alexis) en Eduardo. Ze sleepten ons door de soms pittige hikes heen. Er werd goed voor ons gezorgd en de groep was erg gezellig. Ik raad het zeker aan!

This was an amazing experience!! It was an unforgettable hike that included many laughs with others and the guides. All the guides were extremely helpful and supportive during the hike, especially Alexis aka Nachito, who kept the positive vibes going the whole trip. The trip included stunning Mountain views and great accommodations to make a challenging hike comfortable and stress free. Highly recommend going with this company with a good price as well.

We have just completed the 5 day Salkantay trek, guided by Vlad the Mountain King. This was one of our first proper hikes, and we were feeling a bit nervous, but we couldn’t have felt safer. As inexperienced hikers, it was a tough hike, but has completely inspired us to do more. The group quickly bonded over Vlad’s post-dinner stories, which had us (and very much him) laughing lots. Every night we were amazed by where we were staying, which was even better than advertised. We also did the zip line, which was really cool. Definitely bring layers for the first few nights as they get very cold up there.
