Had an incredible 5 days on the Salkantay Trek, despite being very sick. Nachito helped to look after me and nurse me back to full health with good vibes and numerous cups of Andean teas. He was a very knowledgeable guide, and great craic as well. He kept the vibes high the whole time. Food, campsite and logistics were all excellent from the company Machu Picchu team.
Machu Picchu Team is a great agency to book any tour with. I did the 5 day Salkantay trek and had a wonderful experience. Alexis “Nachito” is a wonderful, informative, organized guide. Nachito made sure that we had all necessary documents and information needed for the journey. He taught us so much about Incan culture along the journey. He was so helpful whenever anyone needed anything and made sure everyone was safe.
As for the experience itself, the meals, accommodations, and activities were awesome. This was one of the best guided tours I’ve ever done. Thank you Nachito!
Nachito was the best tour guide one could ask for, bubbly and intelligent about all aspects of the trip. Machu pichu team organised the whole trip perfectly with amazing food and accommodation along the way. I would especially advise doing the zip line that was definitely the highlight of the trip after actual machu pichu

Just completed the 5 day Salkantay trek with Amoroso! He was an expert on the trails and super helpful to everyone in our group at all different levels. Making sure to support us all and have fun doing so, we all completed the trek!
We did the 5 day/4 night Salkantay Trek with Amoroso as our guide and had a fantastic time! Amoroso made us all feel like a family and was always there to help if you needed anything. Made us laugh the whole time and made the experience so much more enjoyable. The accommodation is great and the food the chefs prepared was also fab - we never went hungry! A huge thank you to Amoroso and the whole of the Machu Picchu Team for an unbelievable experience 🦙❤️

Hiking with Machu Piicchu team turned out to be the betr decison. Our guide,Amorosa added vallue to our experience. He made it fun for us and even though I suffered from altitude sickness he alway made a way for me to continue on. The food was great, lodges were nice and our group overall was great.
