Awesome 5 day Salkantay trek with new friends and Amoroso! Incredible views, vibes and physical challenge. Try your best to prepare your body for the altitude

I did the 5 day Salkantay trek with Amoroso. He was super funny and gave us a lot of freedom and flexibility. Anytime we had a problem he came up with a solution!

Absolutely fabulous. I couldn’t have had a better experience with Alexis, our tour guide. He was funny, friendly and super helpful. He toon excellent care of the group. I could not recommend enough

We had an amazing time participating in the Inca Jungle Tour with David! Communication was fabulous and the tour was so much fun! We learnt heaps about the history of the place, and the accomodation and food exceed expectations. A big thank you to David for giving us such a wonderful experience. Would recommend paying the train ticket home as the bus was a very long journey home. Otherwise great tour and great company thank you!

Juancho and Victor were very lovely guides, providing us with information and history! My time on the salkantay trek was amazing and definitely unforgettable. From group talks to face paintings (@Victor best artist) and jokes - everything was included. My luggage was handled with care and i would always do this trip again🫶🏼

Just finished the Salkantay Trek and honestly couldn’t recommend it enough. A huge part of that was down to our guides, Juancho Escalante and Victor, who were brilliant from start to finish. They were incredibly welcoming, great fun to be around, and their knowledge of the Inca Empire and local history added so much to the experience. The ziplining was a real highlight too. They kept the whole group entertained, motivated and looked after throughout the trek. If you’re booking the tour, definitely try to request Juancho and Victor — they made an amazing trip even better.

This is the number 1 Salkantay trip! Our guides were Juancho and Victor and they were the best. They organised, kept us so well informed and had the answer to every question we had. They paced us all to our needs, helped the kitchen staff to serve delicious dinners and were so much fun. As locals they really taught us the values and traditions of the area and passed down the stories of the Incas. I would not do this tour without them as they are simply the best.

I had an amazing experience on the 5-day Salkantay Trek with Machu Picchu Team. From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized, and I felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout the entire journey.

They shared so much interesting information about the local culture, history, nature, and the surrounding mountains, which made the trek even more meaningful. Their encouragement and positive attitude helped me enjoy every step of the adventure.

I would also like to thank the entire support team, especially the kitchen staff. The food was very good throughout the trek, and my gluten-free diet was always taken into account without any problems, which I really appreciated.

Overall, it was a great experience with a dedicated team that worked hard to make the trek enjoyable for everyone. I would definitely recommend Machu Picchu Team to anyone planning the Salkantay Trek.

I did the five-day Salkantay trek. It was so much fun. The organization was excellent, even for special requests like vegan meals. The entire Machu Picchu Team was very attentive and friendly. The guides Juancho Escalante and Victor were great! They explained a lot and made sure everyone was taken care of.

The 5 day tour with Machu Picchu team was outstanding. Didn’t have to worry about a thing, except for taking in the views of beautiful Peru.
