Amazing experience! I had Juan as my tour guide and he is a legend so knowledgeable and helpful everyday, he made the time so much better

I did the 4 day salkantay trek with Hans as our team leader. The trek is very challenging and exciting with food and glass dome accommodation provided in the price. Our team leader was Hans, he was very fun and passionate about Peruvian culture and everything the trek has to offer. The team is also very informative and will answer all your questions. From the chefs to the baggage workers and the tour guides I cannot recommend this company and experience enough. 5 stars I had a great time 👍

The Machu Picchu team was absolutely amazing Hans was so helpful and funny always in a good mood perking everyone up and knew all about the history and was very passionate he also helped me when i was feeling ill to be able to get a donkey to complete the second day of the 4 day salkantay. The chefs were amazing and never repeated a meal and all meals were really tasty provided 3 times a day. Also our duffel bags were always there on time thanks to the cowboys that transported them. The team couldn’t have been better it was an incredible experience!

I did the 4-day Salkantay Track with Machu Picchu Team. Everything was very well organized, from the briefing on the first day to the transportation, the hikes and the accomodation. Our guide Hans gave us all the important information on the surroundings and made sure we were all well. Joel and his kitchen team provided very good food everywhere we went and Walter and his team made sure that our luggage got where we slept over night.

An incredible experience! We had a fantastic guide, Virgilio, and an awesome group too! All of the logistics were seamless and we had a great time.

We have undertaken a 5 day Salkantay Treck with a friend and we have found it absolutely amazing experience. We were quite lucky to have no rain on the way which helped to build that. The crew was really professional and helpful and the group we were in was fantastic. Could not think of a better team for that trip. The cook did fantastic job as the food (we have vegetarian) could compete with best restaurants in Cusco. The guide (Virgilio ‚Billy’) was knowledgeable, helpful and build unique atmosphere of our Treck. So if you do not mind some hard physical work, lack of luxury hotels at the end of the day this is the one for you.

We had an incredible 5 day Salkantay trek with Machu Picchu Team! Massive shout out to Sugar who was an exceptional guide (the best we have met in South America - he is extremely passionate about the history of the trek and we loved learning from him!) and the wonderful Yetly who both made the experience one to remember, providing excellent insights along the way and creating a fun and motivating team environment! The tour was managed extremely well by Sugar and Yetly, from the first day to the final moments in Machu Picchu, with incredible food from chef Jesus and team, and smooth logistics from the horseman Manuel. The accommodation is comfy and we especially loved the sky domes for a unique stay under the stars. We had a great group which made the experience super fun and got us through the long hikes! As a new company, we would highly recommend booking with Machu Picchu Team for an amazing Salkantay experience!
