Had a wonderful time over the 5 day trek. Kitchen staff always made amazing food and the horse walker lived up to his name! Highly recommend Ronaldo as a guide. His talks were always insightful guys, insightful guys. If you visit Machu Picchu make sure to take Ronaldo with you.

We’ve just returned from the 5-day Salkantay Trek organized with the Machu Picchu Team agency. It was an absolutely fantastic experience, where pushing yourself beyond your limits becomes a real source of pride after each passing day.

These 5 intense days would not have been possible without the encouragement and positivity of our guide, Marco Antonio, who introduced us to Peru through his stories, anecdotes, and breathtaking landscapes.

A special thought as well for all the people supporting us throughout the trek and making the journey so smooth, the cooks and porters, who wake up at dawn every single day to prepare meals worthy of true chefs: varied, generous, and incredibly delicious.

THE BEST BEST BEST week ever! If you are adventurous, open-minded and don’t mind getting a little dirty- do not hesitate to book this trip. It enriched my soul on so many levels. If you prepare for the altitude, you have nothing to worry about. Our guide Juan Oros was beyond amazing- I actually cried when we had to say goodbye to him :( He took amazing care of us, while still being fun and encouraging. I felt so safe, kept in the loop and comfortable with Juan- thank you! The trip wouldn’t have been the same without him. If you aren’t sure if you should, I would highly recommend just going for it. You will see a side of life that few are lucky to experience.

Amazing experience doing the 4-day Salkantay Trek. Our guides Max and Victor were awesome - friendly, knowledgeable, and made the trip fun. Food and accomodation were unmatched!
There were some additional hidden fees that aren’t included in the tour fee.

We had a perfect trip with Machu Pichu Team. Big thanks to our guides Billy and Franco. The accommodations where we were sleeping were really good and the food as well!
