We did the 5 day salkantay trek with our Tour guide Owen. Very good organisation, the guides are very friendly and motivate you to complete the trek. Apart from the hiking, we had great other activities and time to bond with the other hikers in the group. The food and accomodation was great too for the money we paid!

Really enjoyed the 5 day Salkantay trek with Machu Picchu Team. The trek is absolutely beautiful. It was lovely to hear the passion for Inca life from our guide Owen and importantly he was lots of fun and so made the trip so much better! Highly recommend 😊

We did the 2 day and 1 night salkantay trek and we got Omar as a guide. From the beginning he explained everything and was by our side. Apart from being guided by the trek he was telling us information about the Peruvian, Inca and Salkantay people. We were doing an amazing trek and learning a lot of new things. I would definitely recommend it.

We did the two-day trek one night to Salkantay and our guide was Omar. Omar has been an exceptional guide. From the start he was charming, close and with a very positive attitude that made the experience even more enjoyable. It transmitted a lot of security at all times, which allowed us to enjoy ourselves with complete confidence. In addition, he is very nice, always attentive and willing to help, resolving any doubts with a smile. It has certainly made a difference and made the visit unforgettable.

I completed the 4-day Salkantay Trek with Machu Picchu Teams and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.

Our guide, Ronny, truly made the trip. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Inca history and culture, and shared it in a way that felt engaging and personal. He felt like part of the group, not just a guide, and always made sure everyone was comfortable, safe, and doing well.

The entire trek was very well planned and smoothly coordinated. The food was also amazing and honestly some of the best I had in Peru.

Such a great experience, would definitely recommend. Max is a super guide, always very positive and knowledgeable, he made everything so easy for us.

I just got back from the four 4 Salkantay trek, it was amazing and exceeded all my expectations with meals and sleeping accommodations aswell as the amazing views and Ronny the best tour guide ive had in all the tours ive done.

Ronny was knowledgeable and super fun, lots of energy and pushed us to keep going! He was the glue that made our group feel like family. He is such a hard worker and probably starting a new tour already. Theres no other guide id want for Machu Picchu as Ronny is well spoken and quizzes us so that facts stick in our brain.

I did the 5 day 4 night Salkantay hike to Machu Picchu with Max as our tour guide.

The tour itself was amazing, beautiful views and very rewarding, if a little challenging - but well worth it.

Any problems we had were easily overcome by our friendly, positive, professional, proactive and bilingual tour guide Max.

I could go on for longer about how Max made an already great experience better but will run out of characters.

I would thoroughly recommend the trip just be aware that it is enduring, especially the early mornings long hikes and little time to recharge. But an amazing once in a lifetime experience!

Out tour guide Ronny is a true rockstar and combined extensive Inca and nature knowledge with a calm and present personality. The trek was highly enjoyable and I besides enjoying stunning views I learned a lot about native history and culture both present and historical.

I cannot recommend Ronny enough!

Really an absolute must do in Peru! Our tourguide Max helped us through the trek in such a sweet, enthusiastic, humorous and motivating way. Without Max, the experience would have been nothing. Also the cook Joël provided delicious food every day and gave us the energy to be able to hike all day again! Really super grateful that we got to know them and they showed us this beautiful part of their country! A top experience you will never forget!!!
