Did the 5D/4N salkantay track with my guide Amaroso and tbh it was amazing. The track itself is beautiful and our guide added to that. On top of that the food was a real highlight and we slept in some nice places. Good value for money!

Amorosio is the absolute GOAT, unreal experience, everyone should book with them if you want the best salkantay trek!

Hicimos el trek del salkantay de 2 días y 1 noche y nos tocó Omar de guía. Desde el principio nos explicó todo y estuvo a nuestro lado. Aparte de guiarnos por el trek nos iba contando información acerca del pueblo peruano, incas y del salkantay. Nos fuimos haciendo un trek increíble y aprendiendo muchísimas cosas nuevas. Lo recomendaría sin duda.

I booked the 5D/4N tour with Machu Picchu team and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. The tour was well organized, the food was delicious and plentiful. The team at the office was as wonderful to deal with as well.
A great big thank you to our guides Marco Antonio and Elisban for making this experience so special! Marco Antonio and Elisban were both knowledgeable, kind, friendly, passionate and overall a joy to share this experience with. Their communication with our group was excellent, and they always made sure to set us up for what to expect along the way. I feel truly blessed to have had them as part of my trek.

We did the 5 day Salkantay trek and it was one of my favourite experiences of my trip! The trek was physically tough but with the support of our incredible guide Max, it was so enjoyable!! Max was astonishingly knowledgeable, able to answer any questions and point out millions of things along our hikes, incredibly kind and caring, looking after and motivating every hiker across age ranges in our group! He was the highlight of our tour!!! The accommodation along the way was beautiful, able to see the Milky Way from our domes/ huts every night. Our chef Joel made us some incredible meals, with plenty of food to fuel us for our long hikes. Could not recommend Machu Picchu team more, especially with our guide Max! Thank you:))

Really had an unforgettable experience! With Max as tourguide who made us a close-knit group in no time and talked enthusiastically about the surroundings and the history of the Quechua tribe. Cook Joel also prepared plenty of food for us every day so we got through the day full of energy. Everything was perfectly put together and everyone was super helpful. Would definitely recommend to do the Salkantay trek with this organization!

I recently went on the trek as a solo traveller and can safely say it was the best thing I’ve done on my trip. My tour guide Ronny really made the experience special as he made the group feel more like a family instead of a tour guide and tourists. His experience and knowledge about the culture and history of the tour really helped educate me on the region.

The food over the 4 days was also brilliant and was probably some of the best meals I’ve had on my trip.

Overall would definitely recommend!

My experience on this 4 day tour is amazing I have had a great time Ronny, the guide has made the whole group create a friendship. As for the road days they are very fun they usually make stops for Ronny to tell us some story about what we are seeing recommend

I did the 5 day salkantay trek with a couple of friends and it was an amazing experience mainly because of our guide Max! He was so supportive and caring throughout the whole trip and even though it was challenging at times he made it much easier :) It was also a very educational trip and Max did a great job answering my many questions! Joel was our cook and did a fantastic job as well! Food was inclusive as I am vegetarian and it was very good! I will definitely be recommending this company and telling people about our fantastic guide for years to come :)!
