Loved the Salkantey trek with Machu Picchu team. Abel and Victor were the best guides (also explained everything well in english).

I highly recommend this tour! It was five days of pure nature, culture and companionship. We had Juan as our guide, who motivated us at all times, even during the rainy days that touched us. He shared and showed us different aspects of the history and customs of each place, making the experience truly unique.

The tour in general is very well organized and has an amazing kitchen team, which managed to make us forget the tiredness at every meal. There was a lot of variety and everything was delicious.

In addition, the luggage and sleeping bag are transported by a team of muleteers, who always advance so that when you arrive at each camp you have everything ready.

Admiration and total thanks to the entire Machu Pucchu Team team, who made these five days an unforgettable experience.

Unforgettable Salkantay Trek with an Amazing Guide Owen

Me and my friends took the 5-day Salkantay trip with Machu Picchu Team, and it was an incredible experience. Our guide, Owen, was fantastic throughout the trek—he was easy to get along with, made everyone feel comfortable, and brought a lot of fun and positive energy to the group. He was knowledgeable, supportive, and really helped make the whole journey memorable.

It was also a great group of people, and we all got to know each other really well along the way, which made the experience even more special.

Had an amazing experience with Machu Picchu Team. We chose to do the 4 night 5 day Salkantay Trek. The price is great for what is included. Our tour guide Owen was fantastic, he was very knowledgeable and full of positive energy at all times.

An unforgettable experience led by our guides Abel & Victor. I cannot talk more highly of these two, they were extremely attentive, knowledgable, funny and made it clear our safety was paramount, especially when last minute changes occurred due to landslides. The trip was very well planned at all points, and although tiring & sometimes strenuous, morale was always high and I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat. Abel made the trip extra special, he taught us a lot about the history of Inca & Machu Picchu and I had some great conversations with him. He went beyond the call of duty organising transport, sorting out later check out times for us and generally doing everything he could to make our experience great, and it showed! Victor was also excellent, keeping us safe, answering questions we had and bringing a positive energy to the group everyday. The one thing that could be improved was the food, tasted great but I dont think there was enough for all of us. Apart from that, the tour was second to none and I’m extremely pleased with Machu Picchu Team. Would highly recommend to anyone planning on visiting.

Had the most amazing time with a wonderful group of people. Our guides Abel and Victor were truly amazing, making us feel safe at all times and had all the answers to our questions.

We did this trek in rainy season so we encountered some landslides but Victor and Abel found us the best route and made sure our safety was their first priority. Our driver Eugine was amazing and carried all our duffel bags across the landslide with his assistant. All our bags arrived safe and dry, we appreciate them so much.

We didn’t have tickets for Machu Picchu so Abel made sure we all knew where to go and buy them and Victor looked after the remaining part of the group who already had tickets. We loved Victor and Abel, they made the trip unforgettable, you must book with them!!

The trek had been amazing, Amoroso is the best guide ever.

¡Recomiendo muchísimo este tour! Fueron cinco días de pura naturaleza, cultura y compañerismo. Tuvimos como guía a Juan, quien nos motivó en todo momento, incluso durante los días de lluvia que nos tocaron. Nos compartió y mostró distintos aspectos de la historia y las costumbres de cada lugar, haciendo que la experiencia fuera realmente única.

El tour en general está muy bien organizado y cuenta con un equipo de cocina increíble, que lograba hacernos olvidar el cansancio en cada comida. Había mucha variedad y todo era riquísimo.

Además, el equipaje y la bolsa de dormir son transportados por un equipo de arrieros, que siempre se adelantan para que al llegar a cada campamento ya tengas todo listo.

Admiración y agradecimiento total para todo el equipo de trabajo de Machu Pucchu Team, que hicieron de estos cinco días una experiencia inolvidable.

I had an epic adventure doing the Salkantay Trek. Our guide Juan was a total treasure, fun and thoughtful. He joked a lot and always took care that everyone was happy as much as possible. We had horrible weather most of the time but made the best of it. I totally loved it.
The accomodations were nice, and also the extra activities like hot springs and ziplining were really cool, I'd totally reccomend. Definitely worth the money. We missed nothing. Thank you!!! Love to Juan!
