Machu Picchu Team is amazing! This company truly cares about its staff and the local community! The 5D/4N Salkantay trek
was not only amazing itself, but our guide Aurelio truly made it exceptional. The chefs on the trek made some of the best food I’ve had in Peru too! The housing is also very comfortable!

I did the two day Salkantay trip and was lucky to have Rene as my guide. He really went above and beyond to make sure that my experience was great and that I was well looked after. Everything was so well organised and I was kept informed every step of the way on the trek. He also went out of his way to share his knowledge of Inca history and traditions which really enhanced the experience.

Food and accommodation were also great. And of course the views and scenery on the trek are stunning and well worth facing the altitude for. A highlight of my trip so far!

Our five day trip had everything. Rain, clouds, sun, mud and a lot of positive energy. Because of the landslides we had to walk a bit more sometimes. Thanks to our guide Owen (the best guide you can have) we had an amazing experience and had nothing to worry about. Owen provided a good humorous atmosphere in the group. This resulted in a lot of fun every day. At the last day Pacha Mama was with us, we had the first shift to visit Machu Picchu and got a clear view on this magical place. Why not is the question and that is the spirit. Thank you so much Owen!!

I recommend Machu Picchu Team!! A superb 5-day trek of Salkantay! Everything is very well organized, logistics, meals, accommodation, transport. It's really great to be guided! Especially by our guide Owen who was a super passionate guide with a lot of kindness and kindness! Thank you!

Fantastic tour company! Two of our party were ill and so missed the first few days, and the team went out of their way to get them on a new bus and meet them at the station so they could join us for Machu Pichu! We did the 3 day Jungle tour and it was great value for money. Everyone we met along the way went out of their way to be friendly and take care of us, from the people making breakfast to the rafting instructors, and of course the brilliant tour guides (Jimmi and Jhon were so great we were sad to see them go). Such a good experience.

I was on the salkantay trip with 4 more people and our guide Billy, was really very horny, hike and views really cool, the food: Breakfast, lunch, evening was always very cool. In the end, to machu picchu. Billy was a great guide, the cooks and horsemen who accompanied us as well.

Juancho Escalnte was an amazing guide. He was so kind and knowledgeable about the Inca and Andes history. He made sure I was safe and having a good time even though I’m a slower hiker than the group and was very encouraging to me when the trail was difficult. The food was excellent as well! I would recommend him as your guide for the Salkantay Trek

Completed the 5D/4N Salkantay trail in late March. It was my first ever trek and it was great. Juancho was our guide and he was amazing throughout.
