The Salkantay Trek was one of the highlights of my trip in Peru! I would highly recommend everybody to do it. You really get to challenge yourself and test your limits. Of course, our tour guide Hans was a great help during the entire 5 days. He was always making jokes, but also told us a lot about Peruvian and Inca culture in great detail. Also a big thanks to our cook Jesus for the great food, and to Manuel for making sure our baggage arrived safely at every stay. It was an unforgettable experience! 🇵🇪

Everything was explained to us in detail, and the agency was always available to help us and accommodate our needs. During the trek, the campsites were fantastic, and thanks to our talented cook, Jesus, we ate incredibly well throughout the entire trip.
Our belongings were bravely carried from one campsite to another, thanks to Manuel and his team.
Our guide, Hans, was perfect—his knowledge, kindness, sense of humor, and encouragement allowed us to fully enjoy the adventure.

I booked the Salkantay trek with the Machu Picchu team and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Our tour guide, Hans, made sure we felt at ease at every moment. His jokes and positive attitude created a fantastic atmosphere in the group. This was an experience I will never forget. We were in a group of 14 fantastic people. Also a big thank you to Jesus, our cook, for the delicious, elaborate Peruvian dishes, and to Manuel for ensuring our luggage was ready at every overnight stay.
Our 4-day Salkantay Trek was spectacular but definitely a tough physical challenge, especially braving the freezing cold and height early on. Our guide, Owen, was fantastic—his deep knowledge of Inca history, traditional spiritual rituals, and uplifting energy kept us motivated and feeling safe the entire time. We highly recommend this company and Owen for an unforgettable adventure!
