This trek was the most rewarding and thrilling experience of my life! Thank you to Edgarito for making it possible. The 5-day trek is challenging but so worth it. All of the food and accommodations are absolutely amazing. One team, one dream!

I had a wonderful time with this company!! The guides, the food, the places we stayed, and all the extra activities involved were incredible. Special shoutout to Edgar our guide, and Jesus our chef for the week. They couldn’t have taken better care of us. Truly can’t recommend doing Salkantay with this company more. 10/10 thank you!

My friend and I did the 5 day salkantay trek with Machu Picchu team and I can’t recommend it enough. Our guide Steven was clearly very passionate about Incan society and it was great to share his interests throughout the trek. There was ample food throughout the journey and the accommodation each night was cozy and unlike anywhere else I have stayed, which made the whole experience feel easy despite the long walks each day.

The 4 day Salkantay Trek was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. The scenery was breathtaking, the organisation was excellent, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations.

A huge part of that was our guide, Omar. He was one of the best guides I’ve ever had. He made sure everyone in the group felt included and supported, no matter their hiking ability, and always went the extra mile to ensure we had an amazing experience.

His knowledge of the trail, the local culture, and the history of the Incas added so much to the trek. If you’re thinking about doing the Salkantay Trek, I couldn’t recommend it more. And if you get the chance, ask for Omar as your guide. You won’t be disappointed.

Salkantay tour, super recomendado, cada paso tiene su recompensa. Un tour con la combinación perfecta de Historia, cultura y naturaleza. Omar fue nuestro guía y sus palabras justas y sabias a cada momento nos acompañaron. Contagió a cada uno su amor por la naturaleza y la cultura. Nos llevamos una experiencia increíble y un amigo en Omar.

A great experience with great people. We did the 3 day hike which was challenging but incredibly rewarding. The whole trip went smoothly and Erwin our guide was great. Erwin was fun, friendly and very informative leading to a great experience. My only negative was that when booking it was stated on the website that water refills would be provided after this first morning however this was not the case at any point (although this has since been corrected on the website) so was left without any but Erwin went back to the shop to pick some up for us which was greatly appreciated. Overall a great trip and remember to stock up at the shops passed on the way!

We did the jungle trail and 3 days out of 4 we were just the two if us with the guide. Our guide, David, was very helpful and was always happy to teach us new things, we were very happy to have him as guide. Our overall experience was incredible, we recommend !!

Very fun tour, well organised. Food and accommodation was great throughout! Also the guides Eduardo and Vlad were amazing!
