Machu Picchu Team offer the best Salkantay experience.
Abel was the best guide and made sure the whole group was looked after, got to every spot on time and also remembered that it was still a holiday and should be fun throughout the trek!!
Franco assisted him everyday and kept everyone happy, even with a big group!

The 4D3N Salkantay Trek was without a doubt one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but also one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Every challenge along the way was worth it for the incredible views, sense of achievement, and unforgettable memories.

A huge thank you to our amazing guides, Abel and Franco, who made the entire experience so enjoyable. Their knowledge and encouragement, were outstanding, and they kept everything running smoothly from start to finish. No matter how tough the trek got, they were always there to motivate us and share fascinating insights about the area and its history.

Abel led the group through the treks, adding in some culture and a lot of fun at every spot. He is an experienced guide and made sure the whole group was happy with their experience, often reminding us that it is a holiday at the end of the day!

I rarely take the time to leave reviews, but this Salkantay trek truly deserves one. Our guide, Hans, was exceptional throughout the entire journey—professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly dedicated. A special thank you also goes to Isidro and the cooking crew, who prepared outstanding meals every single day, far beyond what we expected on a trek. Another big shoutout to Mamerto and his muleteer team, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to transport our equipment between camps and keep everything running smoothly. Their combined efforts made this experience unforgettable.

I did the 4 day/3 night Inca Jungle Trail experience with Machu Picchu Team and had a blast! Everything was well-planned, safe, and great fun for our group of 7. Our guide David was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. I would definitely recommend this trek!

Normally i dont write reviews but with this Salkantay Tour i just had to. We had Hans as a Tour guide and he was one of the most competent guides i have ever seen. Also a huge complement to Isidro and his team who cooked insane meals for all of us and Mamerto with his cowboy team who were responsible for transporting all our stuff from camp to camp. Amazing jobs!

Nestor was a great tour guide. We had a great time with Machu Picchu Team! We had a lot of activities and everything good was organised.

It was an amazing experience with this company. I would really recommend it! The chefs make delicious food with a lot of variation. Furthermore everyting is arranged well and they are clear about what you can expect everyday. And also the tour guide was great. Elisban (with the nickname Tupac) has 6 years experience, a lot of positive energy, jokes and also give a lot of information about culture and a lot of interesting stories about everything! And he checks many times if everyone is doing fine. Team 'lekker gezellig' was ECHT the best:))))
