Steven is a great tour guide. Some people got sick, so he made sure we stopped at a pharmacy which was very nice. He is always making sure everyone has a good time. He is knowledgeable about everything Inca related, the mountains, the local people and their customs.

Steve was the best tour guide we could have had! So helpful and informative did a great job. Went above and beyond for the group.

Steven was een hele goede gids. Hij heeft hart voor de Inca cultuur en de natuur dit merk je gedurende de track met alle verhalen die hij vertelt. Hij heeft onze salkantay trek gezelliger en informatiever gemaakt. Hij heeft goed voor mensen gezorgd die het zwaarder hadden. Verder hebben alle andere medewerkers hard gewerkt om onze bagage te vervoeren en lekker eten klaar te maken.

Wat een geweldige ervaring en alles is zeer goed verzorgd. Onze gids Steven denkt aan alles en zet écht een extra stap voor alles en iedereen. Niet vaak zo’n fijn persoon gehad die ook veel extra uitleg geeft over de cultuur en de omgeving en hiermee de ervaring naar een hoger niveau tilt. Steven bedankt!

Great experience with a super cool guide! Owen has been looking after us since the first moment. He is a positive and caring person. He made the trek unforgettable, he is super knowledgeable about local culture, nature and landscape. So lucky to have him!

The Salkantay Trek, organised by Machu Picchu Team, was overall a great experience.
Our guide Owen was simply great: since the briefing the evening before starting the trek, he gave us all the info needed. He took really great care of all the group, with always a positive and energetic attitude. He gave us many explanations about the local culture and the natural landscapes all along the trek.

Overall, the trek was very well organised - and Owen was always available and ready to accommodate our needs. Food was delicious, and the accommodations were nice. I would highly recommend doing the Salkantay trek with Machu Picchu Team, and I wish everyone could have Owen as a guide.

Owen was an incredible tour guide who taught us so much about the places we hiked through, as well as the region’s history and culture. The food we were served was absolutely delicious, and the entire trek was very well organized.

This was one of the most amazing experience of my life and I will never forget it. Vladimir was our guide and spoke with so much passion about nature, inca culture and peru. But most of all with his jokes en love he really brought our group together.
