Amoroso was an amazing tour guide, we really enjoyed the trek with him, he was a great lead. The only thing to be aware of is that the company don’t make you aware of a lot of extra costs so while the trek looks like a good deal, the tips for each set of people (horsemen, chefs and the guide), activities and other transport fees can all add up quite quickly.

I did the 4 days hike (salkantay trek). It was a great experiance with great people, landscapes and food. Our guide Omar was good at explaining about the plants, landscapes and Inka history!

I did the sacred valley tour with Nemias and I would definitely recommend him as your tour guide. His knowledge, eagerness to answer any questions and friendly personality made the day trip experience unique.

Had an absolutely amazing experience on the 5 day salkantay trek. Our guides Juan and Jose were incredible, they offered lots of insight on local culture and history while constantly cracking jokes with the group. If you’re looking to do the trek, this is the place. Make sure to ask for Juan!!

Absolutely amazing trip! You get a great variety of views and landscapes across the 5 day Salkantay trip, as well as tonnes of fun activities to do that are covered by the costs. Couldn't believe how cheap it was! Amoroso was a terrific guide - always helpful and happy to answer questions (I had a lot!).

If you are looking for a great way to explore Peru in a short amount of time, this is definitely the way to do it!

I did the 4 day Salkantay trek and had a thoroughly great time! The overall organisation of the trip was good and the days were well paced. The meals provided were hearty enough for the amount of hiking that was done with a good variety over the 4 days. Our guide Omar made the trek that more memorable, he was very approachable and answered any questions/queries we had and provided local knowledge throughout the trip!

The only downsides were the lights went out at the first nights accommodation but we were so tired we were quick to want to go to bed anyway and it didnt dampen the mood with such a great group of people doing the trek.

Would definitely recommend machu picchu team for a great salkantay experience!

It can be really hard picking which company to book a tour with. I used this one as it was one of the top ones on google that came up. After just completing the 5 day Salkantay trek with them, I am so glad I picked them! Our guides were max and Franco - not only really friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming, but also really organised. A huge amount of work goes in to get you and your group through safely - with all of the special requests and questions, last minute weather changes and in our case, landslides.. - and Max did a great job in facilitating all of our requests. The food is great, all served family style with your group, and the activities are also great. The Salkantay trek is challenging, but I made some real great friends on my trek and I’m so grateful for my experience. I also think for the price, given its accommodation, food and experienced companies ensuring you get to your final destination in one piece, it is good value. Thanks team!

I had the best time doing the Salkantey trek with our tourguides Max & Franco! They were really helpfull and caring in everything. Also they were so kind and it felt like we were a small family for the time being. ;) Again thanks so much to you guys!! It was definitely a highlight on my trip in Peru.

We had a wonderful experience with Omar as our tour guide. He was really aware and sensable about the capabilities of our group.
