I would really recommend the Salkantay Trek with Machu Picchu Team. We recently completed the trek with Edgar (legend), whose positivity, enthusiasm and knowledge made it impossible not to enjoy (even in the rain). The trek was well organised and Edgar made sure to clearly outline the plan for each day and adapt when needed based on weather condition/ group needs. He was also great when recommending places to buy snacks/drinks along the way. His local knowledge and willingness to share his culture was really interesting and made the experience even better. The accommodation was simple but comfortable and had everything you need. The chef prepared plenty of delicious food for each day and made sure we were well fuelled for the hiking. Having never done a multi-day trek before, I was unsure what to expect but after completing the trek with Machu Picchu Team I feel hooked and can’t wait for the next one.

Erwin was a great guide and took great care of everyone! Even though it was raining and snowing, and we couldn't see Ausangate, I still had a great time. The breakfast and lunch were also delicious!

The Salkantay in Peru was a truly unique experience, with its impressive altitude, breathtaking nature, and rich Inca culture. Our experienced guide Frank Omar led us attentively and safely throughout the trek. The food was plentiful and well-suited for vegetarians too. Thanks to the full team for all the support!

Hugely recommend the 5D/4N Salkantay trek with Machu Picchu Team! Our guide was Edgar and he was fantastic - he shared so much knowledge along the route & bought so much enthusiasm to the group. The trek is such a good mix - mountains, cloud forest & some Inca trail, as well as great accommodation & food along the route from Isidro the chef. Our favourite week in Peru!
Fiz o passeio ao Vale Sagrado e à montanha Palcoyo com a empresa. Os dois foram excelentes! Vans muito boas, novas, com cinto de segurança. Motoristas excelentes nos dois passeios, principalmente na da Palcoyo, que a estrada não era fácil. Os guias também ótimos. No vale fomos com Nemias e na Palcoyo com Milton. Queria fazer um elogio especial ao Milton, que foi extremamente atencioso com todo o grupo, fazendo tudo com muita calma e esperando aqueles que caminhavam mais devagar por conta da altitude. Ele também foi super simpático e conversamos muito, aprendi demais. Recomendaria a empresa com toda a confiança.
